Media release For immediate release New product: Baby Monitor Available: August 2011 Speak, look and listen with new Uniden baby monitor Uniden has extended its popular baby monitor range with the new Baby Watch BW 2101, a device that gives parents of babies and toddlers the opportunity to not only see and hear what is happening from another room, but also communicate through an innovative ‘walkie talkie’ function. Baby Watch BW 2101 is a ‘plug and play’ system comprising of a 3.5 inch wireless video monitor and a portable indoor camera that offers infra-red night vision for round-the-clock performance. The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone so parents can hear when their child may need attention, as well as a new walkie talkie function which enables parents to communicate with people in other areas of the home while tending to their child. The innovative Baby Watch also comes with a selection of lullabies that parents can play remotely to help sooth an unsettled baby. Baby Watch is exceptionally easy to set up and operate. Using a secure digital wireless solution, the unit can be effortlessly moved from room to room or even out into the backyard, transmitting crystal clear video and audio signals up to 150 metres. Giving further peace of mind to parents, Uniden’s digitally encrypted FHSS technology protects against eavesdropping and hacking from external sources. With an attractive, modern white design to match any home décor, Baby Watch 2101 includes a flexible ‘goose neck’ camera stand with weighted base, making it easy to position the camera in awkward places. Other exciting new features include VOX (Voice Activated) record and alarm, and SD card capabilities to record those special moments (up to 64GB). The Baby Watch monitor displays a detailed, wide-access view in full colour as well as the ability to view up to four cameras on the one screen. Both the monitor and camera include a LION rechargeable battery with up to four hours battery life or can be plugged in using included AC adaptors for longer periods of time.
