Find speaker’s front to rear center of gravity by balancing it on a dowel laying on the floor. 2. Draw a line across the speaker bottom following along balanced dowel position. 3. Mark the center point (A) of the line. (This should be the speaker’s center of gravity.) 4. Mark another point (B) 1-5/8" from the center point (A) towards the back of the speaker. (This marks one screw hole.) 5. Cut a 2-1/4" diameter hole around the center point (A). 6. Insert the socket mounting bracket and align one screw hole with mark (B). 7. Mark the remaining two hole locations. 8. Drill three 1/4" holes at the marked locations through the cabinet bottom. 9. Insert the socket mounting bracket and install the hardware to secure. 10. Hardware order: Screw through socket mounting bracket into speaker cabinet, through washer and into nut. 11. Insert the tripod upper tube in the socket mounting bracket. Attention: Speaker bottom must be at least 5/8" thick. To avoid damage during assembly, refer to your speaker owner’s manual for internal component locations.
