Cold Headed Blanks Alexander Screw Products, Inc. has purchased 250,000 cold headed blanks in various sizes made from alloy steel. We can make these into any head or body style and they can be made up to SAE grade 8 or metric 12.9. We turn about half of these round heads into hexes and the balance become sockets, low heads or flange heads. We are shooting for under 1 week turnaround for bolts that can be made from these blanks. We have several thousand of each size heat treated to grade 8 so we will be able to offer 24 hour rush service at a reasonable price.
