The FireFinder XLS family gives you everything you need to ensure code compliance, continuity of communications, and a smart investment. With more power, more flexibility, greater capacities, and a highperformance full-color user interface, the fastest, most intelligent fire safety system available offers premium features and options that address the needs of today while remaining ready for the future. Faster processors and state-of-the-art features for virtually any application Facilities of all sizes can take advantage of faster processor speeds and state-of-the-art features which define the FireFinder XLS. The FireFinder XLS portfolio includes fire alarm control panels for large applications that support up to 2,500 addressable points per panel (up to 64 networked panels), as well as panels for small- to mid-sized facilities with 500 addressable points or fewer. Plus, it’s been engineered so facilities with legacy MXL® systems can easily and affordably migrate to the newer FireFinder XLS technology using adapters and line cards. Additionally, each FireFinder XLS panel can be networked into other members of the FireFinder XLS family, which means your system can grow as requirements change. Powering the XLS family is a high-speed core processor that supports 2,500 logic functions and up to 64 nodes. Every signal is quickly processed – from simple diagnostics to full alarm conditions. engineers, installers and service technicians will appreciate convenient, data transfer and database management tools. USB connections enable the transfer of panel firmware through a high-speed Ethernet port. Fast file transfer is especially valuable when supporting a global display on a large network system with a separate database. Files can be transfered and loaded without powering down the system using SD slots, and a backup SD card slot stores system configuration data, drawing files and text files. Technicians can then easily access that system data when performing maintenance, upgrade or service work. Increasingly, codes in the U.S., including NFPA-76, call for a broader range of detection capabilities in commercial and public buildings of all types, including dual optical smoke detectors, carbon monoxide (CO) detectors, combination CO and fire detectors and new audible signal patterns for carbon monoxide life safety events, such as the Temporal Code Four coded signal. FireFinder XLS meets and exceeds industry specifications for the most complex and most demanding projects. The high-performance, full-color PMI, FireFinder’s “person/machine interface” elegantly and clearly communicates stateof-the-building conditions by displaying, reporting and responding to alarm signals, trouble alerts, diagnostics, security signals, hazardous or dangerous conditions and other system information.
