Philips Consumer Lifestyle SPF1207_10 Firmware Upgrade We have developed a firmware upgrade to improve your product. Related models: SPF1207/10 Benefits of this upgrade: 1. Change default date as 01-January-2010 2. Decrease of current consumption Note: Before you proceed to upgrade, please be reminded that you need to do configuration again each time after firmware upgrade! How do I check the current firmware version? Step1: Check your current version First check your current firmware version to see if you need to upgrade: 1. Turn on the set. 2. On {Home Page} select item and Press “OK” to confirm. 3. On {Settings Page} select item. 4. If your existing firmware version is earlier than this version V1.03 or V1.01A (such as V1.00, V1.01…), you need upgrade your firmware as following steps. Step2: Download firmware upgrade Download compressed packet of upgrade file from Philips Website and decompress it. Step3: Transferring firmware on to SD card Copy the upgrade file (SPF1207.bin & SPF1207A.bin) to the root directory of a formatted SD Card. Step4: Upgrading the firmware of your PhotoFrame 1. Insert SD card into your PhotoFrame and re-power on. 2. PhotoFrame will detected the upgrade file and display the below prompt screen. A free update is available! Update now? Yes no 3. Select “Yes” (default focus on “No”) and press “OK” to perform the upgrade actions.. 4. PhotoFrame will display the below screen which indicates upgrade is in progress. Note: Please be careful not to remove the power until the process is completed. Updating… Please DO NOT remove power! Page 2 of 3 Philips Consumer Lifestyle 5. After about 30 seconds, upgrade will completed and PhotoFrame will auto-reboot. Note: Don’t forget delete the upgrade files. Step5: Confirm successful upgrade 1. After the PhotoFrame automatically restart, on {Home Page} select item and Press “OK” to confirm. 2. On {Settings Page} select item. For example, after CPT panel match sample successful upgrade, you can see as following info. ps.
