MASSIVE MIDRANGE Fuel-injected titanium-valve engine’s camshaft and exhaust are tuned to boost lowand midrange power for arm-straightening drive out of corners. INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE A compression ratio of 11.6:1 and optimizing port shapes help the YFZ450R make maximum power. Stout bearings and connecting rod add even more strength and reliability. ALUMINUM FRAME Light and strong, no-weld cast aluminum mainframe provides a solid attachment point for the front and rear suspension systems. And a wide track helps it achieve amazingly flat and precise cornering. WINNING ERGOS An adjustable ProTaper ® handlebar, low-effort throttle and wide footpegs put the rider in command of this race-ready machine. RACE PREP READY The YFZ450R is designed to make race prep as simple as possible. The body panels come off easily for service—no need to remove the battery or other components to get the fenders off. In addition, the oil tank is integrated with the crankcase so it’s easier to service the engine. ADVANCED SUSPENSION The front 44mm KYB® piggyback shocks have Kashima coating for smooth operation, high/low-speed compression, rebound and threaded preload adjustment. The rear is matched with a 46mm KYB piggyback shock with high/low-speed compression, rebound and threaded preload adjustment. All of this adds up to superior motocross-spec suspension performance.

With a four-stroke SOHC engine tailored for fun, a lightweight, rigid frame, and double wishbone front and Monocross rear suspension, the Raptor 125 inherits many of the traits of its larger cousins.
