SRS-3 Kit Thank you for purchasing a Shakespeare antenna product. Shakespeare works hard to build reliability and durability into all of its products. Customer comments are welcome. Before installing, please study the diagram and check parts supplied against those listed. IMPORTANT! Please read all instructions before installing. The Style SRS-3 is a kit for connecting two Sirius Satellite Radio receivers to one Shakespeare Galaxy® Digital Satellite Antenna. The kit includes the cables and connectors needed, but not the antenna nor the receivers. Supplied Parts 1 RG-58 A/U coax cable with TNC connectors on each end (male/female) 1 Splitter with F-type connectors 1 TNC-male to F-type-male adapter 2 F-type-male to TNC-female adapters 2 25’ RG-58 A/U coax cables with TNC and SMB connectors 2 Screws for attaching the splitter to the mounting surface Special tools required: none Installation Instructions Cable runs of 25’ are supplied. DO NOT CUT OR ALTER THE CABLE LENGTHS. Excess cable can be rolled in a coil of at least 8” diameter and stowed in an out of the way place. If different cable lengths are necessary, contact Shakespeare Technical Support for additional instructions before proceeding. 1. Mount your Shakespeare Galaxy® Satellite Radio Antenna, Style SRA-25, SRA-30 or SRA-40 (each sold separately) according to the instructions included with the antenna. Do not use the 25’ cable supplied with the antenna. Use only the cables included with this kit. If you already have a Galaxy satellite radio antenna installed on your boat, you must replace the cable with the one included in this kit. 2. Connect the supplied components in the order shown in the diagram and route the cables to where your receivers will be located. The connectors on the cables and components will mate only if they are in the correct order. Be sure all connectors are tightened securely. Attach the splitter to a deck or bulkhead using the supplied screws or other hardware (not supplied) that is appropriate to the mounting surface. 3. Coil and store any excess cable as described above. DO NOT CUT THE CABLES OR REMOVE THE CONNECTORS. 4. Connect a Sirius receiver (not supplied) to each of the splitter’s outputs, according to the receiver manufacturer’s instructions.
