The radio frequency in the 2.4 GHz range is freely available to use (does not require permission from the authorities). In principle, up to a maximum of 4 cameras can be operated simultaneously on different radio frequencies (2400 MHz - 2483 MHz). This means that maximum distances of up to 100 m can be bridged. In this instance, the radio cameras operate via the screwed-on stick antenna with a radio receiver.
WLAN / LAN / 3G 2,4 GHz
Otherwise, remote transfers of up to 1200 m are made in the same way as with the Kerbl stable camera. For these large distances, directional antennas are used (transmitting and receiving antennas) which must each have precise opposite „line of sight contact“. So it is important to ensure a clear distance between the transmitting and receiving antenna. Since the antennas are located outside, the camera and AVLink are connected via video cable. The AVLink, i.e. the amplifier inside the house, can best handle 2 cameras set to frequency ranges that are as far apart as possible. A third camera can function, however it also depends on other existing radio sources (e.g. WLAN, baby monitor, etc.).

Kerbl therefore recommends that two cameras be operated for remote transfers and up to four cameras for direct transfer without the use of directional antennas. Your dealer:

Onlink! makes it possible: • at last, you can view the images from the Kerbl stable camera on your smartphone • the latest P2P technology makes it possible - it‘s simple and incurs no additional costs • of course you can also view the images on several other types of terminal device (smartphone, PC or tablet)
The set is a modern radio surveillance kit with an extensive range of up to 1200 m! The camera in the stable and the 2.5 „ LCD monitor inside the house enable optimum monitoring of your animal. The high-quality camera (IP54, night vision lens up to 15 m, sound recording, wide-angle lens) and the extensive range (1200 m of clear sight), coupled with the simple installation process, make the set an indispensable companion for every animal owner.
Here‘s how easy it is to use: • connect the AVLink using the audio / video cable supplied in the Kerbl stable camera set with the OnLink! • connect the OnLink! to the power supply and your home network by inserting the LAN cable into the relevant socket • download the (free) camera App (p2pcam264) to your smartphone or tablet. Onlink! comes with installation software for the PC/Mac • connect the OnLink! with your preferred terminal device by entering the code located on the OnLink! or by scanning the QR code
This is how easy it is to use the stable camera set: 1. T he camera focuses on the animal and transmits the signal through the cable to the directional antenna on the outside of the stable. 2. T he directional antenna on the wall of the stable sends the signal to the reception antenna over a distance of up to 1200 m. 3. T he reception antenna is linked via video cable to the AVLink in the house, which transfers the video signal via radio to the LCD monitor inside the house. The LCD monitor or amplifier (AV-Link) can also be connected to the TV in order to obtain a larger image.
