RUNNING CLEANING CYCLE ON CP60/CP60 PLUS CP DRIVER
The display allows you to step through the menus and access the Diagnostics mode of the printer. There you will find a Cleaning Card selection.
Ribbon Kit Includes: Ribbon, Cleaning Sleeve and Cleaning Cards

Open the printer cover (1).

Remove the replaceable cleaning roller and the ribbon cartridge (2).

Open the input hopper cover (3). Remove unprinted cards from the input hopper (4).

Depress the arrow over key once. Depress the up arrow key twice till you see “Diagnostics” in the display. Depress the arrow over key.

You should see “Cleaning Card” on the bottom line of the display if not Depress the arrow up key till you see “Cleaning Card”

Open the cleaning card package and remove the cleaning card.
10 Insert the cleaning card into the input hopper (5), just past the input roller. 11 Depress the arrow over key once and card will feed into the embosser. The printer moves the card through the printer several times and ejects the card.
Repeat steps 5 thru 11 but this time on step 11 hold the cleaning card so that the feed roller just spins on the cleaning card. Wait a few minutes to allow the rollers to dry for best printer operation and print quality.
12 Slide the used cleaning sleeve off the spindle.
13 Discard the used cleaning card and used sleeve.
14 Place a new cleaning sleeve on the spindle (1).
15 Remove the protective cover from the sleeve (2).
16 Insert the replaceable cleaning roller (with a new cleaning sleeve) into the printer (3).
Replace the ribbon cartridge, close the printer cover, load cards, and resume 17 printing. Cleaning tips
• Use the cleaning card as soon as you open the package. The cleaning solution on the card evaporates after a few minutes. • Some card features, such as signature panels and magnetic stripes, can require more frequent cleaning of the printer.
