STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE(SOP) Crimping of The Wires to The Lamp (wire nuts) 01 02 Select the stripper suitable for the 2.0 mm wire gauge and the crimper suitable for the wire nuts. 01 Select the stripper suitable for the wire gauge. 02 Strip off a part of the insulator with the length of L as shown in the figure. The length must be conformed based on the actual size of the connector. N5.NL Wire gauge 2.0mm Strip length 16mm Insulation cap L L Cross section of the wire arrangement Use the selected crimper (suitable for the wire gauge) to connect the wire nuts. The wire must be inserted into the inner hole of the wire nuts in the direction as shown in the figure. The bare copper part of the wire must be longer than the copper tube by more than 2 mm (as shown) for crimping. L 03 (connector) Strip off a part of the insulator with the length of L as shown in the figure. The length is determined based on the actual size of the wire nuts. Insulation cap Terminal model Connection of The Wires to The Lamp *L must be 10mm +/-2mm 03 The wire must be inserted into the inner hole of the connector in the direction as shown in the figure. Make sure the wire is inserted to its position appropriately. 04 When connection is complete, pull the wire to make sure that it is not loose. If the wire is loose, insert it again. More than 2 mm Reserved insulator 04 Copper tube When finishing crimping, pull the wire to make sure that it is not loose. If the wire is loose, crimp it again. QUALIFIED The bare copper does not come out of the wire nuts and the insulator is not damaged. QUALIFIED No bare copper comes out of the connector. UNQUALIFIED The bare copper comes out of the wire nuts and the insulator is damaged. UNQUALIFIED The bare copper comes out of the connector. DOUBLE-END FEED LED T8 TUBE Wire Connection Diagram Note 01 1. Remove the parts and wires of the inductive ballast and initiator/electronic ballast. 2. The power cable inside the lamp is all parallel connected. No other lamps should go out when any one of the lamps is removed. Inductive Electronic 3. The position, direction and wire color of the line and neutral wire must be consistent to avoid confusion. 4. If a frame ground is integrated in the power system, the shell of the metal lamp must be suitable for earthing (most of the lamps are provided with tapped holes). 5. The lamp must be provided with a frame ground for the non-isolated 220V AC power circuit. T8 lamp holder is for one-time use. Once the wire is inserted in and pulled out of the socket in the holder, it should not be used any more. 2. The connecting personnel must know the wire routing of the lamp and plan the wiring construction according to the diagram. 3. If the wire must be connected in the lamp for any reason, a crimping method is recommended avoid electrical contact of the wires. Macroblock, Inc. www.mblock.com.tw
