PRESS RELEASE “MARK SAMPSON’s NEW STAR AMPLIFIERS COMPANY IS NOW SHIPPING”
July 21, 2004, Los Angeles, California: STAR AMPLIFIERS is the new Los Angeles home of Mark Sampson’s latest all tube all class A hand wired guitar amplifier designs. This fast rising company has just begun shipping its all new amp products to its many resellers. The new models incorporate various new tone possibilities with the 15 watt and 30 watt GAIN STAR and SIRIUS REVERB finally permitting players to access tones anywhere from Mark’s original harmonic-rich signature designs to his more recent in-yourface hot gain designs; both with increased and improved overdrive gain, effects loop, improved clean channel and tremendous power reserve. The 15 watt and 30 watt BLUES STAR model replicates famous 1960’s blues amps with extra tone shaping, all in a modernday robust build. All models are hand built with heavy-duty parts into the company’s new smaller sized Pro cabinet with a 1x12” Celestion Vintage 30W speaker. Even the modifications to the OEM speaker are all new.
