Starlink - NXGEN A EXCELENCE... AUDIO TRANSPORT AGNOSTIC Starlink-NXGEN can operate simultaneously over all networks (IP, E1/T1, or Wireless). It can simultaneously operate over multiple frequencies, with fall back operations between multiple communication circuits. SOFTWARE DEFINED WIRELESS The Starlink-NXGEN can operate in any frequency between 200 MHz and 6000 MHz and can deliver RF Power outputs up to 5 watt Linear. It features a high-intercept front-end with an ultra-low noise figure of less than 2 dB. It is compliant with current standards and utilizes an efficient error correction algorithm, and can operate in a single-frequency network as well. It also features a powerful and programmable dual error correction feature that uses TCM and Reed-Solomon codes. AUDIO CODECS The STARLINK-NXGEN delivers the highest of audio quality featuring 24 Bit Linear codecs using sample rates as high as 192 KHz. Data rates from 100 Kbps to 155 Mbps can be transmitted by user-defined modulations from QPSK to 256 QAM in programmable bandwidths from 100 KHz to 256 MHz. Both AES and Analog Inputs and Outputs are available for up to 4 stereo channels, with silence detection, audio switching and distribution amplifier modes. A powerful interference cancellation design enables XPIC operation that delivers 2 times the spectral efficiency of traditional wireless systems. All industry available source codecs including MPEG II and III, AAC, and APTX are user programmable. Support is also provided for digital composite AES 192 KHz mode. The Starlink-NXGEN can operate in simplex/ duplex/repeater and XPIC modes. UNIQUE FEATURES • Simplex/Duplex/Repeater • Built-in Hitless Reveiver • Capable of XPIC Operation - Double capacity of existing frequency • 4dB improved modem system gain • 5W PA with Distoe Prevderfnfim +(37dBm) (optional) • Built-in Cross Connect • Multi-frequency Operation • AES - Digital Composite Input/Output • Analog Composite Input • Linear PCM in less than 230KHz • Up to 4 stereo audio channels • Built-in audio over IP • Redundancy of Radio and IP path • HD Radio • LAN Management SMART MANAGEMENT WIth an Integrated Web Server and optional Touch Screen front panel with Optional PC/ WiFi connectivity for management and Control, as well as a command-line interface, SNMP V3 support, Graphical reports for SNR, Constellation, RSL Extensive loopbacks, Alarm logs with time stamps, and other features such as Packet statistics I/O support for status and Control, the Starlink-NXGEN is equipped with some really smart tools for even smarter management of audio network traffic. SOLID CONSTRUCTION The Starlink-NXGEN is constructed using Moseley’s traditional modular product design which incorporates hot swappable modules. With an AC Power range of 90-260V 47-63 Hz and, DC Power range of 9-72 V DC, this allows for redundant mixing and matching of AC and DC Power Sources. ...REDEFINED IP T R A N S P O R T INTEROPERABILITY ACIP Compliant and VLC Compatible FEC Pro-MPEG CoP 3 r2 STREAMS Up to 4 Audio Streams VLAN IEEE 802.1Q Support PACKET SIZE User selectable per stream JITTER BUFFER Adaptive or adjustable per stream, QoS Per stream, ToS, DiffServ TOPOLOGY Point-to-Point unidirectional; Point-to-Point bidirectional; Point-to-Multipoint multicast SYNCHRONUS BACKUP Programmable failover per stream to Alternate audio source and transport LATENCY IP TRANSPORT 30 – 500 ms SYSTEM AUDIO FREQUENCY RESPONSE < 5 Hz to 22.5 kHz (48 kHz); < 5 Hz to 15 kHz (32 kHz) DISTORTION < 0.01% at 1 kHz SAMPLE RATE Selectable 32, 44.1, 48 kHz; built-in rate converter DYNAMIC RANGE 90 dB static encoder/decoder: > 120 dB AES EBU CROSS TALK -80 dB LEVEL STABILITY < 0.2 dB CHANNELS SUPPORTED: DIGITAL AUDIO 4 Stereo Channels ANALOG AUDIO 4 Stereo Channels SOURCE ENCODER AND DECODER CHOICES Uncompressed, MPEG Layer 2/3; AAC – LD, LC, G722, G711, APTX, Digital Composite - AES 192KHz Mode ENCODER &DECODER AUDIO CONNECTORS Analog Input XLR Male, Output XLR Female AES/EBU RJ-45(Ext XLR Cable) AUDIO SAMPLE RATES 32/44.1/48 kHz selectable, built-in rate converters ANALOG AUDIO INPUTS Electronically balanced, 600Ω/10kΩ, selectable, CMRR>60 dB ANALOG AUDIO OUTPUTS Electronically balanced, low-Z ANALOG AUDIO LEVEL -10 dBu to +18 dBu DIGITAL AUDIO AES/EBU AES/EBU IN/OUTPUTS Transformer balanced, 110Ω DATA INPUT RATES Async, 300-9600 bps selectable BITS 16 or 24 bits T 1 / E 1 TRANSPORT E1/T1 INTERFACE CSU CONNECTOR IMPEDANCE T1 LINE CODES T1 FRAMING E1 LINE CODES E1 FRAMING E1 COMPLIANCE LINE LENGTH EQ. 2 X E1 / T1 Built-in RJ-45, Available BNC adaptor 100Ω balanced, Available BNC adaptor B8ZS, AMI ESF, D4 HDB3 256N, 256S, with/without CRC-4 CCITT Rec.
