SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. To avoid electric shock, risk of fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference. 2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source. 3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. 4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine. 5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger. 6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger. 7. Keep the appliance away from children. 8. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 10. With any indication of damage or malfunction, please stop using the appliance immediately to avoid hazards. Take it to / Contact the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts by yourself. 11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards. 12. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance. 13. Clean the surface of the appliance with dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to clean. Do not swash the appliance with water. 14. Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use. Make sure the power is off before pulling out the plug. Do not pull the cord. 15. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well and store it in dry cool place. 16. Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance in an environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources. 17. The appliance generates high temperature steam. Always handle with care and warn other users of the potential dangers. 18. Unwind and straighten the power cord before use. 19. Place the appliance on a firm and steady surface. 20. The iron must be used and rested on a flat and stable surface. 21. Avoid power cord touches the soleplate. 22. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable. 23. The plug must be removed from the socket before the water reservoir is filled with water. 24. Empty the water tank after use. 25. Do not add perfume, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank; they can damage the appliance seriously. 26. Do not use the appliance when it is damaged or performs abnormally. 27. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. 28. Do not touch the soleplate during rest or right after ironing to avoid injury by heat. 29. Do not roll the power cord round the appliance or base for storage until it is cooled down completely. 30. The iron must not be left unattened while it is connected to the supply mains. 31. Do not touch the surfaces marked with symbol during operation or rest to avoid injury by heat. OPERATION INSTRUCTION 1. Sort out the articles to be ironed according to the type of fabric. This will minimize the frequency of temperature adjustment for different garments. 2. Test ironing a small area on the backside or inside of the garment if you are unsure about the type of fabric. Start with a low temperature and increase gradually. 3. Temperature adjustment needs certain time to reach the required level no matter it is higher or lower. Wait for about three minutes before ironing heat sensitive fabrics. 4. Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour, and etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent shine marks. 5. Read the garment labels and follow the manufacturer’s ironing instructions that are often shown by below symbols: Temperature Dial Settings

HOW TO FILL WATER This iron has horizontal filling option. 1.
Disconnect the iron from the socket.

Move the steam control knob to

Fill water through the water inlet hole upto 'MAX' position of the water tank.

Close the water inlet cover and wipe out any spillages on the iron.

Note: For best result, please use de-mineralized water or distilled water. Do not use chemically de-scaled water or any other liquids.

FIRST TIME IRONING 1.
Remove any protective films or stickers from the sole plate and the iron body.
2.
Unwind and straighten the power cord.
3.
Fill the iron as described in the section of “How To Fill Water”.
4.
Connect the iron to a suitable socket.
5.
Turn the temperature dial in clockwise direction to indicate that the iron is heating up.
6.
Pilot light will go off when the required temperature is reached.
7.
Move the steam control knob to soleplate.
8.
Begin first time ironing with an old towel.
9.
When the water tank is empty and there is no more steam can be produced, it means the preparation work is completed and the iron is ready for proper use.

SPRAY This function can be used at any time and it does not affect other functions. 1.

Aim the nozzle to the garment.

Press the spray button.
Note: It may be necessary to press the spray button a few times to start the function.

SELF-CLEANING This function removes the scales and minerals built up in the iron, and remains unit in the best condition if this function is performed at least once a month or more regularly depending on the hardness of the water used. 1.

Caution: Keep skin/body away from the hot water and hot surface of the iron. ANTI-DRIP 1. Anti-drip system is designed to prevent the water escapes from the soleplate automatically when the iron is too cold. 2.
During use, the anti drip system may emit a loud clicking sound, particularly during heat-up or whilst cooling down. This is normal and indicates that the system is functioning correctly.

BUILD-IN ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM The built-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce the build-up of lime scale which occurs during steam ironing. This will prolong the working life of your iron. Note: The anti-scale cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of lime scale build-up.
EMPTYING THE WATER TANK 1. Disconnect the iron from socket. 2.

Open the water inlet cover and remove water from water tank as (Figure 9).

Shake it to remove any remaining water out of the filling hole.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION CLEANING THE IRON 1. Disconnect the iron from the socket and allow the iron gets cool completely. 2.
Use a dry cloth or non-scratching cleaner to remove any deposits on the soleplate or the iron body.
Note: 1. Never use sharp or rough objects to remove the deposits on the soleplate. 2. Never use any abrasive, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.
TROUBLESHOOTING If the iron does not perform well, please check the following points. Problem Possible Causes

Turn the temperature dial with respect to the garment. Set temperature dial to maximum position with indication. Turn the steam control knob to position before refilling the water tank.
Damage textile.
Overheat.
Follow the garment guide or test on the inside of the hem of the garment.
Flakes and impurities come out from the soleplate holes during ironing.
You have been using hard water, which has caused scale flakes to develop inside the soleplate.
Perform SELF-CLEANING once or more times. see “SELFCLEANING”.
