STL products are of professional grade and professional installation is highly encouraged. Instruction Manual: 1. The Vireo siren system comes with all cabling needed for installation. 2. Included will be a power harness with a white male plug featuring 7 pins. The harness will contain: 1x Red (power), 1x Black (ground; located below power red), 2x Brown (speaker), 1x Yellow and1x Grey cable. (Yellow and Grey are for INTERNATIONAL use only). 3. Connect your primary phone cable (longer cable) into the adaptor. 4. Connect the phone cable to its corresponding plug on the amp. 5. You may proceed with plugging in the Vireo Mic into the open end of the adaptor. 6. Connect the white male connector into the power supply to the right of the phone cable. 7. You will then wire the power cables, red and black, to your positive and negative terminals of the battery. 8. You will want to ensure your grounding cable is taken directly to the negative terminal of your battery to avoid any feedback which may disrupt your STL product. 9. Secondary power cables will accompany your STL Vireo siren. 10. You will have four other power cables. Each cable may be placed in any port A-D with the red (hot) being taken to the port labeled 12v+. 11. These ports will provide power out and can sustain up to 10-amps of lighting each. 12. When adding lights to the STL Vireo siren, ensure that their grounding cable is taken to the main grounding cable of the STL Vireo siren. STL Vireo Mic: 1. The STL Vireo Mic will feature eight (8) different tones. As well as four (4) auxiliary switches: A, B, C, D. 2. The STL Vireo Mic will have a dim back light when turned on and ready for operation. 3. When making a selection on the remote, the back light for that button will be illuminate further. 4. There is no volume control for the STL Vireo siren; additionally the PA function will override any tone currently in use.
