Description The GSV-2 is considered to be the "classic" among the industrial measuring amplifiers for sensors with strain gages. The highest amount of EMV-protection according to stringency level 4 (EN61000-4-2, 61000-4-4, EN50082-2) and standards going beyond these, IP66 housing and compactness are the attributes that are held in high esteem all over the world. Optionally, the GSV is available with display, plug connectors or zero setting button and amplification changing via relay contacts. The measuring amplifier GSV-2 can be used in process monitoring and in weighing technology. Up to 2000 measured values per second can be transmitted via the serial port. It has excellent digital filters. Filtering or averaging of the transmitted measured values is not required. In addition, there is an analog output (0...10V, or ±5V or 4...20mA) available. The analog output can be set to 0 by a digital control input. The balancing range is 200% of the measuring range. For a low-cost measuring amplifier in 24-bit technology, the measuring rate and the outstanding software support are remarkable above all. The extensive software package ME GSV Control is included in delivery. Settings of the measuring amplifier, i.e. measurement rate, switch thresholds or display options are changed either with control characters or via the ME GSV Control software. For software developers, there is a Windows DLL available for integration of the functions. Various special designs, e.g. an automatic zero point re-regulation and a data logger function are available.

The input sensitivity can be modified between 2.0 and 1mV/V or optionally between 3.5 and 1mV/V in all model versions by use of a jumper. Standard version is GSV-2AS -5+5/250/2.
