DO pump up the volume: Boost your strands by holding a top section with one hand straight up from your scalp. With the iron in your other hand, slide it up and away from your scalp. Then gently place that section on top of the others. Repeat all along the crown for that voluminous, sexy, lion’s mane come-hither look.
DO follow with a finishing spray: For those of you in sunny Cali or humid Miami beach, hairspray is a must for preserving that smooth, sleek style. Spend more time wearing a coat or dealing with desert heat? Dial back on the iron-clad holding spray. Instead, spritz on a light-reflecting shine serum to amp up your glossy shine.

Oscillating Flat Iron
DON’Ts DON’T tug on your tresses: If you’re like a lot of us, your tendency is probably to grip your hair in between the plates, hold on tight, and pull for dear life to get those strands straight. Sure, you’ll get your desired look, but you won’t be doing your mane any favors: breakage and frizziness are sure to result. Change your ways by lightly clamping a section of the hair and gliding your iron gently through the strands, so they stay smooth and healthy.
DON’T hold on. This is no time to hug it out. By stopping and holding the iron in one place, you put yourself at risk for crimps a la ‘90s girly pop star, which is SO not the look we are hoping for. Go steady at a continuous pace and you’ll score a winning, gorgeous look
DON’T be a Speedy Gonzalez. Racing the flat iron over a section won’t make your strands straight. More to the point, you’ll be wasting your time, since your ‘do will probably look the same as when you started. If you want those sleek effects, go SLOW and glide the Vibrastrait through your hair at an even speed.
DON’T pick up a brush. Brushing your hair after flat ironing it will cause your style to lose its shape. The exception are those small frizzy patches near your roots. To flatten them, spritz a baby toothbrush with hair spray and gently go over the fuzz.
DON’T do it everyday. Heating up the iron for an all-out ironing session each morning will cause more harm than good. It is OK to do touch ups with the VIBRAstrait in between washes — just remember to adjust the temperature accordingly.
We would love to see your finished look. To share your straight, curly & wavy styles created with the VIBRAstrait Iron, post a pic of your hair to your Facebook or Instagram account. Tag us in the post (@brocatotoday) and use the hashtag #vibrastrait).

Oscillating Flat Iron
DOs DO Deep Condition:
Achieve today’s smooth, wavy or curly styles faster, easier! BROCATO’s VIBRAstrait Oscillating Flat Iron creates a unique combination of heat & vibration allows hair to glide easily, quickly, smoothly between plates.
When hair is exposed to heat, it can get dry, damaged, and course like straw- NOT exactly the look we are going for! The solution: hydrate, deep condition & moisturize BEFORE & AFTER using the iron for optimal smoothing and softening effects. Before the iron, use a leave-in conditioner to set in moisture. After the iron, rub a dime size amount of argan oil on the ends. Want an A++ in hair health? Use a hydrating mask once per week & bond with your tresses. That extra bit of love will make them silky, smooth, & oh so touchable.
• Tourmaline Ceramic plates oscillate (7,500 per minute). Decreases flat iron time by 30%. Hair damage is virtually non-existent; NO tugging, NO pulling.
DO dry your hair thoroughly:
• Variable Temperature Settings (190°– 450°). Different hair textures require customized settings. Turn vibration on or off for different effects!
VIBRAstrait works best on clean, dry hair (do not use on wet hair). If you hear a sizzling sound, your hair isn’t completely dry; using the iron on evenly slightly damp strands will cause frizz and damage.
DO mind the temps: • Creates a frizz-free, lustrous shine. • Integrated Super Sensor Technology delivers Rapid Heat Up & Recovery Time.
Yes, it’s a numbers game. Setting the right temp for your hair type will prevent split ends and over-drying. Give yourself the smoothest, most damage-free strands by checking your hair type against this table, below:

DO use protection: Prior to straightening, spritz on a thermal heat protecting spray or oil to prevent and protect your strands from heat damage.
DO section it up: No need to do everything all at once. It’s best to straighten your hair in one-inch sections (the max size for effectiveness of the plates). Pin up your hair, choose a section, get your VIBRAstrait Iron in hand- glide & go!
DO go from bottom to top. The smoothest look starts by straightening the layers underneath. Pin up the top sections and secure them, then clamp a section from the bottom layers from on one side of your head, working through to the other side. After, move to the upper layers, and finally, the crown of your head, making sure to go back over the just-straightened sections to give an all over smoothness.
DO kick & flip: Straight hair can be boring if you don’t give it a kick and flip with your wrist. To make your hair something to talk about, pull the VIBRAstrait iron down an inch before the ends. Then bend your wrist up or down and glide the hair effortlessly through the iron. Your ends will be like that perfect little accessory that makes the whole outfit work. Go forth. Be polished and pretty.
