Upgrade Existing Internet Service IN THIS KIT Your kit includes:

1. Unplug all of the cables from the back of current modem.

Your modem will transmit an SSID code: Suddenlink.net-xxxx. The x’s represent the last four digits of your modem’s cable MAC address.
2. Unplug the power adapter from power outlet. 3. Unpack the new modem and accessories.

4. Connect the coaxial cable from the cable wall outlet to the back of the new modem. (For use on an active outlet currently connected to either Suddenlink phone or Suddenlink video services)
6. Plug the Ethernet cord into your modem. (A new Ethernet cord is provided in your kit. If your existing cord is functioning the new cord will not be needed.) 7. Wait up to two minutes for your modem to connect to the network. Your ONLINE light will stop flashing and stay lit. 8. Once connected, open a web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome). The browser will direct you to a registration page for completion of the activation process. You will need your account number from your monthly statement.
When connected to the modem you will be asked for a password. The password will be the modem’s serial number. P/N: 1440400002N0

5. Attach the new power adapter to the back of the new modem and plug it in.
Once you verify that your modem’s ONLINE light stays lit you can connect to your WiFi@Home service.

NOTE: The MAC address, Serial Number, SSID and Passphrase can be found on the back of your modem.
After entering the password, you will be connected to your High-speed Data service. If you are having trouble connecting you may have to power cycle your devices. To power cycle your modem unplug the power cord, leave disconnected for one minute and then plug in. While the modem connects to the network, restart your computer.
How to log into your modem:
1. Launch the web browser. 2. In the address line, type: 192.168.0.1, and click Enter. 3. On the login screen enter: Your Username: cusadmin Your Password: password Note: These are the default username and password. If you change these, you will need to use the new username and password to log into the modem. 4. Click Apply to login.

New Internet Customer IN THIS KIT
INSTALLING YOUR MODEM

Your kit includes:
1. Locate the coaxial cable coming from the wall outlet and disconnect it from the TV, set-top box or phone modem. 2. Connect that same coaxial cable to the IN port of the splitter that came in your modem kit. 3. Take the shorter of the coaxial cables and connect to one of the other two ports on the splitter. 4. Connect the other end of that coaxial cable to your TV, set-top box or phone modem, and screw it on finger-tight. Use the splitter to connect both your modem and TV (or phone modem) to the same outlet. 5. Connect the other coaxial cable to the remaining port on the two-way splitter. 6. Connect the other end of that coaxial cable to the port on the back of your new modem.

NOTE: If you have another known active outlet in your home that isn’t being used on a TV or phone modem you can connect the modem directly to that outlet to get your modem online. In this case the splitter and second coaxial cable are not required.

7. Wait up to one minute for your modem to connect. You will see the ONLINE light on your modem stop flashing and stay lit. 8. Connect one end of the provided yellow Ethernet cable to the back of the modem. 9. Connect the other end of that Ethernet cable to your computer/wireless router. 10. Once connected, open a web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome). The browser will direct you to a registration page for completion of the activation process. You will need your account number from your monthly statement.
