Any operation of this device beyond that which is described in this instruction sheet, and/or any unapproved attempt to repair this device, will void the product’s warranty and is undertaken at your own risk. S Font is Bank Gothic Before operating your Sunleaves Dehumidifier, be sure to do the following: Install the Air Filter. Remove the Air Inlet Panel from the back of the device, insert the Air Filter into the Air Inlet Panel, and then Replace the Air Inlet Panel. Make sure the Water Tank is seated properly in the Sunleaves Dehumidifier. The unit will not operate if the tank is full or is seated incorrectly. Place the Sunleaves Dehumidifier upright on a completely flat, level surface. Using the Sunleaves Dehumidifier: • Plug the Sunleaves Dehumidifier’s power cord into an appropriate outlet. • Press the Power button. • Adjust the Fan Speed knob and Humidity knob to desired levels. The unit’s compressor will only operate when the Humidity knob is set below the room’s ambient humidity level. • When the room is adequately dehumidified, or when the Water Tank is full, turn the unit off and unplug it. Carefully empty the Water Tank and replace it, then repeat the above steps if additional dehumidification is needed. Fan speed selector General guidelines: • The Sunleaves Dehumidifier is only for use indoors. • Never allow children around the Sunleaves Dehumidifier without direct supervision. Power light Water limit indicator light Humidity level selector • Don’t move the Sunleaves Dehumidifier when the Water Tank is filled with water, even if it’s only a small amount. Empty the Water Tank first, then move it. • The Sunleaves Dehumidifier is only intended to be operated in one position: upright, with all four wheels on a flat surface. The unit might function in other positions, but it will not function optimally, and doing so will void its warranty. • Don’t operate the Sunleaves Dehumidifier in excessively dusty areas. • Keep the Sunleaves Dehumidifier unplugged when it’s not being used. • Always turn the Sunleaves Dehumidifier off before unplugging it. Unplug it by pulling on the plug, not on the cord. • If the outside of the Sunleaves Dehumidifier gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth. Use water, not chemical cleaners. Also, don’t use a cloth that’s too wet near the buttons or display, because you could electrocute yourself or damage the unit. Defrosting: The Sunleaves Dehumidifier automatically enters its defrosting cycle as needed. Do not turn off or unplug the device when it’s defrosting. When it’s defrosting, its other functions may cycle off and on in order to aid in the defrosting process. Continuous Drainage Option To convert unit for continuous drain operation, use the following steps: 1. Turn off power and unplug unit. 2. Remove plug from drainage port on rear of unit. 3. Remove the water tank 4. Insert plug (removed in step 1.) into interior drainage port. Replace the water tank. 5. Attach included hose to drainage port on rear of unit. Direct hose to a floor drain. Storage: When storing the Sunleaves Dehumidifier for long periods of time, be sure to take the following steps: • Empty the tank, rinse and dry it. • Clean the filter. • Store it in an upright position.
