The Jupio Compact Charger is designed to charge Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) and Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) AA and AAA type rechargeable batteries. Please note that the Jupio Compact Charger must not be used with Alkaline, Carbon Zinc, Lithium or any other type of batteries other than Ni-MH or Ni-Cd. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Insert 2 or 4 AA or AAA type Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries into the battery bay of the Jupio Compact Charger. 2. Batteries must be inserted in the correct polarity before charging. Do so by matching the positive symbol on the battery with the positive symbol on the battery bay of the Jupio Compact Charger. 3. Plug the Jupio Compact Charger in wall AC outlet. Red LED will glow to indicate a normal charging mode after battery is in compartment. 4. Red LED will glow just right after the Jupio Compact Charger is plugged in. If an incorrect type of batteries are used or defective batteries are placed in the compartment the LED light will not glow. 5. Unplug the Jupio Compact Charger and remove the batteries when not in use. 5. 6. 7. Before using the Jupio Compact Charger, read the instructions carefully. The Jupio Compact Charger is intended for use with Ni-MH or Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries only. Attempting to charge any other types of batteries will cause personal injury and damage to the charger. Do not expose the Jupio Compact Charger or adapters to rain or moisture. Designed and intended for indoor use only. Always unplug the Jupio Compact Charger when not in use. Do not operate the Jupio Compact Charger if it has been subject to shock or damage. If subjected to shock or damage have it serviced by a qualified service technician. Do not disassemble the Jupio Compact Charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electrical shock or fire.
