Super-Sonic ™ amplifiers
Super-Sonic ™ 100-watt amplifiers I High-performance, no-nonsense tube amps that create unmistakable Fender ® clean tones and expressive modern high-gain tones without masking the tonal character of your guitar. Available in a 2x12" combo and a 100-watt head that mates with the 412 straight and slanted cabinets. All are available in two classic styles—Black/Silver and 1961-style Blonde/Oxblood, both with ivory “radio” knobs and flowing 1960s script logo. I
Super-Sonic ™ 100-watt amplifiers
Super-Sonic 100 Head
Super-Sonic Twin
The new Super-Sonic 100 Head and Super-Sonic Twin contain several sonically versatile new features: I New Arena/Club switch takes the power down to 25 watts to preserve its great high-volume tube tone at lower club gig volume levels. I Notch Tune control moves the midrange notch and lets you fine-tune the distortion characteristics for a variety of American and British amp sounds. I New rear-panel damping control lets you choose “Normal,” “Loose” or “Tight” speaker response for sounds ranging from warm and loose to tight and focused. I Fender Automatic Bias control lets you easily set the output tubes to the recommended factory setting and to your preference of “hotter” or “cooler” bias, with no meters or tools required. Bias adjustment is not only good for tube life, but also for tone — for example, a hotter bias/loose speaker damping combination is great for blues; a cooler bias/tight speaker damping combination is great for metal and jazz.
Other features include: I Vintage channel for shimmering clean tone derived from Fender Twin Reverb® and Showman® amps, or the thick and punchy sound of a 1960s-era Bassman® amp. I Burn channel for edgy breakup and distortion with variable compression, thickness and sustain. I Tube-driven long-spring Fender reverb. I Effects loop with Send and Return level controls; also functions as a footswitch-operated boost. I Custom Schumacher transformers. I Black/Silver and Blonde/Oxblood cosmetic treatments. I Included cover and pedalboard-friendly four-button footswitch.
Loaded with Dual 12" Celestion® Vintage 30 speakers.

“Fender’s a great partner … they make classic guitars and amplifiers that stand the test of time. We’ve got a bunch of Super-Sonic amps out with us, and now I can’t imagine ever playing without them.”
Mitch Hansen, Hyland
“The Super-Sonic Twin is not a utility infielder. It’s like having three Derek Jeters without the price tag. This amp is not a one-trick pony; it’s more like six one-trick ponies. I didn’t believe it until I played it, either. This amp rips. It sings. It loves pedals. It barks, punches, shimmers and sparkles without being harsh or brittle. Oh, and it’s got Vintage 30s. For the first time, versatility truly meets quality.”

“Roses are red, violets are blue, if it weren’t for Fender what would we do? Fender started with rock ‘n’ roll and continues to grow each year, becoming more modern but keeping its soul. The Fender Super-Sonic truly is sonically super, so it’s not just a clever name.”
“My first tube amp was a DeVille 4x10. I outgrew it in favor of boutique heads, British amps and half stacks. When our trailer and all of our gear was stolen, it was back to the drawing board; time to re-think everything. When I fired up the Super-Sonic Twin, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. This is a true by-the-book tone monster, and the only amp to have enough subtleties to be able to dial in my tone. My first amp was a Fender, and now my last one will be, too.”
The Summer set
“Fender Super-Sonic amps have become a vital part of our live show and recording process. We can get a beautiful array of clean tones, vintage low gains, and an overdrive that will kick you straight in the teeth. This amp is a classic; marveled and talked about on every tour we’ve taken them on. Oh, and did we mention the sex appeal?”

“The great thing about the Fender Super-Sonic amps is that they’re as American as apple pie and Mickey Mouse, and they give us a killer sound that everyone can enjoy! The Super-Sonic combos we use are truly mind blowing. All of the fine tunings of a classic Fender combo, but with the all of the mind-blowing modern tones and looks that nothing compares to. Thank you, Fender!”
