Experience Affordable Professional Digital Video Workflow Sony’s SBS-64G1A high-speed memory card. 35634-SXS64.indd 1 11/24/10 10:42 AM High-speed Compact Size Digital HD video workflow for professionals. The affordable Sony’s SxS-1 memory card for professional digital videographers and video editors is designed to work with the next generation video cameras such as the XDCAMTM/XDCAM EXTM series professional camcorders, and non-linear video editing systems. It is flash memory based for near instantaneous read and write performance. Rated at an exceptional 1.2Gbps (Chart A)*1,2, you can transfer 120 minutes of HD422 recording in just 8 minutes without the need for special adapters (with the 64GB model)* 3. This high speed digital workflow keeps you ahead of any deadline and competition. Lifetime Indicator 75mm 34mm 5mm The SxS-1 Memory Card specification uses ExpressCard™/34 modules (width: 34mm, height: 5mm, depth: 75mm), half the size of PC Cards. This enables the design of professional camcorders to be smaller and lighter, while still offering high storage capacities. High Reliability Lifetime indicator displays on camcorder (SxS-1 only) Salvage function for XDCAMTM/XDCAM EXTM Camcorder † Only when using PMW-E1R, PMW-320, PMW-330, PMW-350 or PMW-500. (When recorded at full capacity one time per day, SxS-1 will continue to use for approximately five years.) (Note: No guarantee is given for content restoration.) The remaining media rewrite cycle is displayed in the viewfinder of XDCAMTM/XDCAM EXTM camcorders† and a notification will be shown when SxS-1 memory card is approaching its end-of-life. This function does not support consumer cards. A unique salvage function serves to restore content lost due to power failure or memory disconnection during recording. In addition, SxS-1 Memory Card specifies product reliabilities offering the freedom to shoot in harsh conditions and environments. Consumer cards do not support this function.
