Place the 1/2” Button Head Screw (300-485) in the holes of rack mount rail and hinge bracket and loosely screw to Flat-nut (300-560).
Note: Rackmount brackets that have a triangle must locate at the top.

Slide Rack Mount Rail into position with the Flat Nuts sliding into the channel as shown. After bracket is in position tighten all screws with hex key.

Place the 1/2” Button Head Screw (300-485) in the holes of each bracket and attach loosely with Flat Nut. Note: For assembled cabinets use the Drop-In Nut in place of the Flat Nut. For Installing in Chameleon Cabinets: Use the Drop-In Nuts (300-565) and the shorter 3/8” Button Head Screws (300-518). Insert Flat Nut s or Drop-In Nuts into the channels (Use the Front Side Channel for Chameleon). Secure screws with Hex Key.
C Use standard 10-32 mounting screws to mount equipment on rack rails. D For 15U & 21U Rails, attach header panel at the top of the rack rail.

1 Connect Posts to Bottom Shelf !

WARNING: Tighten by screwing the leveler foot NOT the post.

Square the post to the bottom shelf.
Screw foot with metal washer through bottom shelf and onto the end of an extruded post. Hand tighten fully then use wrench on hex nut to tighten nut onto underside of shelf.

Combine the 1” threaded studs with the flat nuts. Slide hardware into rear posts.

Insert peg down the post channel and position the peg through the Spacer and tighten. You may also consider using books or CD's for shelf spacing.

Place shelves from the bottom up. Angle the shelf in between the front post and set on top of shelf pegs and heavy duty brackets.

C. Secure Rear Panel Place panels and secure thumb nuts to finish rear panel installation.
* Use holes to guide the studs..
C. Fine Tuning Use the bubble level to precisely adjust the shelves. Be sure to level both side to side as well as front to back. Use the hex key to tighten each peg.
TIP To ease installation of rear panels first remove any drawers and/or doors and gently place the unit face down on the floor to improve aligning of panels.
