IMpORTANT SAFETy INFORMATION GENERAL pOWER TOOL SAFETy WARNINGS Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
SETUp
1. Do not expose to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a tool will increase the risk of electric shock. 2. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Disconnect the adapter from the Light before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
Battery tool use and care
OpERATION
1. Recharge only with the adapters specified by the manufacturer. An adapter that is suitable for one type of tool may create a risk of fire when used with another tool.
2. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
Service Have your tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the tool is maintained.
Spotlight Safety Warnings MAINTENANcE
1. Maintain labels and nameplates on the tool. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. 2. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
4. The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

1. Plug AC/DC Adaptor (21) into a 120V outlet.
1. Plug into any 12V DC outlet in an automobile, boat or RV, and then into the Adaptor Plug Inlet located on the back of the Spotlight.
2. Attach the end of the Adaptor cord to the Adaptor Cord Inlet, located on the back of the Spotlight. 3. The Charge Light Indicator will light up. When the Charge Light Indicator goes out, the Spotlight is ready for use. Unplug the Adaptor.

General Operating Instructions 1. Hold the Spotlight using the Pistol Grip. 2. Squeeze the Trigger. If you want the Spotlight to stay on, slide the Lock Switch up while squeezing the Trigger, then release the Trigger and the Spotlight will stay on.

3. When finished using the Spotlight, release the Trigger or push the Lock Switch downward to turn the Spotlight off. Keep Spotlight indoors away from children.

Replacing the 4V Halogen Bulb:

Note: To prevent hand-oil contamination, DO NOT touch the Halogen Bulb with bare hands. Use a lint free, soft, clean rag to handle the Bulb. Note: Unplug all wire connections by holding the connectors and pulling. Do not pull the wires apart by tugging on the wires.

1. Slide the Ring Cover off of the Housing. 2. Unthread the two screws holding the Ring in place. Housing
3. Carefully remove the Ring, the glass Lens and the Reflector.

OpERATION
4. Unplug the black wire (negative) from the bottom of the Reflector. 5. Pull back the casing on the red wire (positive) connection, then unplug the bulb wire from the red wire connection.

6. Unhook the ends of the Spring Clip and remove the clip and old Bulb.

7. Place the new Bulb into the Reflector Bowl opening and slide the Spring clip under the Tab, over the Bulb Flange, then lock the ends into the “T” Slot. 8. Plug the red and black wires back in place, sliding the casing over the red wire connection. 9. Reassemble the Reflector, Lens, Ring and Ring Cover.

Removing and Recycling the 3.7V Dc D Battery: Note: The Battery for this product is rechargeable and long lasting. When it is worn beyond further use, it should be removed and recycled.

To remove the Battery from the Housing (2), follow these steps: 10. Remove the seven Screws from the Housing. 11. Pull the Housing (2) apart and remove the wires connected to the Battery. 12. Remove the Battery from the Housing (2).
