Connected by wire to the iPad®’s Lightning® jack, the retailer’s app can quickly connect to and use the cash drawer. The TabletPRO™ solution facilitates mobile POS transactions. Store associates who remove the tablet to assist customers can capture a sale at the point of decision. Cash transactions are queued up for completion (if their POS app allows) once the tablet is reconnected to the cash drawer via the Lightning® jack cable. The cash drawer may be used without a power adapter or if a power adapter is connected the cash drawer will recharge the iPad®’s battery. Key Features: • The Model 550 Cash Drawer for iPad® connects by cable to the Lightning® jack of the iPad®. • The iPad® controls the cash drawer through the cable (not via Bluetooth or WiFi). • The cash drawer supports a power adapter connection.
