The TACMIC CT5 is an innovative tactical speaker microphone which is designed for use by the Special Forces to enhance communication performance in counter terrorist, conventional and bio-chemical operations.

The TACMIC CT5 offers the user various PTT (press to talk) and audio ancillary options (see over for details), which provide a flexible and modular approach to meet the challenges presented in an assault scenario.

Ancillaries socket for connection to Selex ES ancillaries
Designed primarily for use with the PRC 148 (Urban MBITR Radio), TACMIC CT5 is compatible with many other radios.

Volume control adjustment
SWS10 Wireless PTT TACMIC CT5 can be remotely operated by a SWS10 Wireless PTT, which has a transmission range of approximately 1 metre. This can be attached to equipment or weapons, leaving the user unencumbered by wires. When pressed, the SWS10 Wireless PTT remotely operates the TACMIC activating radio transmission.
Auxillary socket
Each SWS10 Wireless PTT has a unique identity, which is easily ‘learnt’ by the TACMIC CT5. Once programmed, the SWS10 Wireless PTT will only operate its own TACMIC. Replacement SWS10 Wireless PTTs can easily be deployed without the use of any specialist equipment.
