Dear Customer, Congratulations on the purchase of your ABC-Design Stroller. We are pleased that you have chosen one of our products and hope that you will be completely satisfied with the service you receive from the product. We advise you to read the Instruction Leaflet carefully before use of the pram and then to keep it in a safe place. If you fail to do this the safety of your child can be jeopardised. Kindly pay attention to the washing and care instructions so that you enjoy long and trouble free use of your new purchase. Your ABC-Design Team. Hints for care and use 1. The manufacture of materials used in the fabrication of this product meet the standards required by the AZO, EN71-2 und EN71-3. for clothing claimed light originality values. However, we advise you not to expose the product to the sun for a long time. Attrition and fading of colours during heavy solar radiation do not justify a damage claim. The fabric case of your stroller is washable. You can wash the case by hand or machine cold wash. 2. Complete rain protection for your model is only achieved by using an ABC-Design rain cover, available from an ABC- Design retail outlet. 3. Each product frame is manufactured according to EN 1888: 2002 standards. To maintain the safety of your product, the moving components must be lubricated regularly and if required rerivetted. Look out: Use only silicon-oil or silicon-spray for oiling. 4. Regular care and maintance contribute to the safety and longevity of your product. Environmental influences such as salty air, road strewn salt or acid rain as well as outdoor storage contribute towards corrosion. Therefore always store the pram indoors. 5. We recommend regular maintenance of all varnished components. Should the frame and varnished components become soiled use a damp cloth moistened with water diluted mild detergent to wipe away the dirt. In adhering to the aforementioned hints you will enjoy satisfactory use of your ABC-Design product for a long time.

1. Folding open the Stroller Press the stroller together (1) slightly, and then pull the transport locking device up (2). Now put one foot on the rear axle, and pull the handle of the stroller toward you until the folding the mechanism locks in place on both sides. WARNING: Please make sure that all locks are closed before using. 2. Assembling the Axles and the Wheels Front-wheel blocks: Attach the wheel block to the frame, as shown in the picture (1), and push the wheel block up, as shown in picture (2), until the wheel block locks in place. Rear axles: Put the wheels (A) on the axle (E). Attach the wheels with the spring rings (B). Press the cap (C) over the top. Finally, you must put the wheel caps (D) in the rims. Stick the rear axle on the frame, as shown in the photo. Attention: The brake lever must point toward the rear.

3. Operating the Brakes Press down on the bar to lock the brakes.
Press up on the brake bar again to release.
4. Removing the Bumper Bar Press the button (1) on both sides and take the bumper bar (2) off. Attention! In order to ensure the stability of the stroller during use, please leave the bumper bar installed.

5. Locking the Belt In order to lock the belt, you must stick both plastic parts (1) into each other until they lock in place. Position the belt adjustment device so that the child will be held in its designated place. 6. Opening the Belt In order the too open the belt, you must press (1) both parts together, and then pull them (2) apart. WARNING: Please use the pelvic belt together with the crotch belt 7. Adjusting the Backrest Pull the rear clip up. Then you can adjust the backrest. In order to fasten the clip again, release the clip. Attention! Do not try to fold down the backrest without moving the clip, otherwise you will damage the holding device for the backrest.The front backrest adjusts to a half prone position, and the rear backrest adjusts to a complete prone position.

In order to put the front backrest in a flat position, please pull the bail behind the backrest upwards. ATTENTION: Please don’t try to turn down the backrest without pulling the bail, otherwise you will damage the attachment of the backrest. 8. Adjusting the Footrests In order to adjust the footrests up, you must pull it up until it locks in place. To adjust the footrest down, you must place the footrest to the very bottom. On the underside, the metal clip must be released. The footrest can now be placed downwards.
9. Locking and Releasing the Swivel-Wheels Simply press the lever down to release the swivel wheels. Simply press the lever up to lock the swivel wheels.

10. Folding up the Double Stroller Put the front wheels in the showed position in order to prevent any damage to the stroller during the process of folding it up. ATTENTION: Before you use the stroller again, you must release all wheels or lock them in the other direction. If you leave the wheels in this position you will damage the wheels of your Tandem in the length of time. Bring the backrest in the upright position, and fold the footrest all the way down. Release the locking mechanism with your foot, and press the handle forward slightly. Press the second safety device down, and push continue to press the handle of the stroller forward. Afterwards, hold the stroller with one hand on the handle, and pull the stroller on the bumper bar toward you. Now, you can close the transport locking device, in order to be able to transport the stroller better. Remarks: To fold open, you proceed as in point 1 "Folding d open the Stroller." WARNING: Please make sure that all locks are closed before using.

11. Removing the Seat Cover Release all the buttons attaching the seat cover to the stroller. Then open the belt on the underside of the stroller, and take off the cover. In order to reattach the seat cover, you proceed the reversed order.

Read these instructions carefully before using, and save them. If you do not follow these instructions, the safety of your child can be impacted. This stroller (Tandem Air) is meant for 2 children from birth to 3 years of age, and with a maximum weight of 15 kg. WARNING : Never leave your children unsupervised in the stroller! WARNING : Make sure that all the locking mechanisms are closed before using. WARNING : Always use the safety belt, when your child is in the stroller. Each individual basket can be loaded with a maximum 2 kg. This stroller is approved for a maximum of 2 children and a maximum of 15kg per seat. WARNING: If you carry the stroller up- or downstairs always take your children out of the stroller. WARNING: Always use the leg belt in connection with the lap belt. WARNING : The breaks must be locked, while you place the child in the stroller and take the child out. WARNING: Check loose parts, and locking parts, from time to time, and tighten them if necessary. The allowable air pressure for the tires is 1.5 to a maximum 1.8 bar. Air leaking from the tires does not constitute an entitlement for complaint. WARNING : When using the carrier bag, make sure that it is attached correctly to the stroller. WARNING : Please, do not conduct any changes that puts safety in question. Use only the accessories permitted by your manufacturer. WARNING : Keep away from sources of heat (fire, oven, stove). WARNING: Any load on your handle can influence the stability of your stroller. Fading is not impossible caused by solar radiation, the influence of sweat, detergents, abrasion, or too frequent washing, and thus is not a defect. Worn-down tires is wear and tear, and shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint.
Instructions for Filing a Complaint - Natural appearances of wear (deterioration) and damage caused by undue stress shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Damages which result by improper use shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Damages which result from incorrect assembly or operation shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Flat inner tubes which resulted from the stroller not being used shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Flat inner tubes which resulted from the effects of foreign objects, such as nails, shards, etc., shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Flat inner tubes caused by pumping up the tires too much, and exceeding the permissible air pressure, shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Damage which results by improper changes to the stroller, shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint. - Rust that can occur as a result of a lack of servicing or improper treatment shall not constitute a defect. - Scratches are normal wear and tear, and shall not constitute a defect. - Fabrics that have become wet, that were not dried, can become mouldy and shall not constitute a defect of production. - Fading is not impossible caused by solar radiation, the influence of sweat, detergents, abrasion, or too frequent washing, and thus is not a defect. - Worn-down tires is wear and tear, and shall not constitute an entitlement for complaint.
