GB.TBLZ211.050101 Instructions for the installation, operation and maintenance of the TBLZ 2-1-1-41 GOLD-LON communication unit. GENERAL The TBLZ-2-1-1-41 Communication unit is intended for use together with the size 11-52 GOLD Air handling units, Version B. The unit (see Fig. 1) consists of the following items: 1. Cable with connector for connection to GOLD air 3 handling unit. 2. Power cable for 230 V supply. 3. Terminal blocks for the LON network Green LED, Power Green LED, GOLD comm. Fig. 2 Cable entry COMMISSIONING Dipswitches 3 and 4 shall be in the ON position on the control unit of the GOLD air-handling unit (see Fig. 3). Green ”Power” LED is lit when 230 V power is supplied to the unit. Green ”GOLD Comm.” LED flashes when communication with the GOLD air handling unit is functioning. The LON unit shall be configured. The LON network must be coupled together by a network operator. Use terminators to ensure correct operation. The network operator shall decide the type of terminator to be used, contingent on the type of bus topology selected. By pressing the ”Service Request ” button, the network operator can obtain the individual identificationcode of the communication unit. Note that the LON unit must be rebooted after ”Service Request”. This can be done by briefly switching off and switching on the power supply to the LON unit. Before the network operator has configured the communication unit, the yellow ”Service” LED on the cover of the unit, will flash. While communication is in progress, a list of the available parameters can be fetched from the communication unit. The parameters required can be selected from this list. This list can also be downloaded as an xif file from the Swegon website (www.swegon.se\dokument\goldbsk.html). Using the right-hand mouse button, click on ”Gold lon 10 xif”, then save it. The GOLD air handling unit will operate independent of whether the LON network is operational or not. 2 Service GOLD comm Power INSTALLATION Locate the communication unit beside the junction hood of the GOLD air-handling unit. Route the cable (1) with quick connector through the cable lead-through of the GOLD air handling unit (see Fig. 2) and connect it to the appropriate outlet on the control unit (see Fig. 3). Connect the network cable to the LON-NET terminals, A and B (3). Connect the feed cable (2) for 230 V supply either to terminals 101 (N) and 102 (L) in the junction hood or arrange a permanent connection across a safety switch.
