TC 88 K (EK) Standard: JUS N.C4.140 i PTT Vesnik br. 16 / 86 Identification according to IEC 189-2. CONSTRUCTION Conductor: Soft annealed tinned copper wire of 0.5; 0.6 (mm) diameter. Insulation: Halogen-free, fire retardant polymer. Twisting elements: Pairs, triples, quads, quintuples. Identification according to IEC 189-2. Cable core: Concentric layer stranded. Core wrapping: Thermoplastic tapes in several layers. For TC 88 K Sheath: Halogen-free, fire retardant polymer. For TC 88 EK Screen: Laminated aluminum foil with a tinned copper drain wire being longitudinally applied under it. Sheath: halogen-free polymer. APPLICATION For internal connections in telephone exchanges and signaling units. Halogen free cables with improved characteristics and isolation functionality in case of fire: - do not spread fire and flame (according to DIN VDE 0472 part 804C), - products of the combustion are not corrosive (according to DIN VDE 0472 part 813), - low smoke density during combustion (according to DIN VDE 0472 T816). TECHNICAL DATA Temperature of the conductor: - at laying: - 5°C up to+ 50°C - before and after laying: up to + 70°C Bending radius: at laying min 7,5 D (D - cable diameter) ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS Characteristic Unit Loop resistance, max. ohm/km Insulation resistance, min.
