Teal Terminal Submission Parameters **Disclaimer: Teal Terminal has limitations on the number of announcements that can be shown on the Teal Terminal screens. Submit your announcement as early as possible to request publication – You will not be notified if the announcement cannot be used.** Technical Specifications: File Type: JPG or PNG file types only. Announcement Size: 615 x 387 pixels or 8.54 x 5.38 inches maximum. Text Size: 31pt – 62pt Character Limit: 140 Characters – If it works for Twitter, it works for us! Guidelines All announcements need to be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday in order to be published the following Monday. o Teal Terminal will not accept announcements during university holidays and/or semester breaks: The terminal screens will be turned off to conserve energy. All submissions will run from Monday – Friday morning. Announcements are changed on Friday, and new announcements are active on Monday morning. Images should be the main focus of the announcement. Text can be used, but must follow the text size and character count specifications stated above. Contact information must be limited to a phone number or UNCW email. Include only what is necessary: large descriptions or explanations will not fit. We will not edit your Text but we cannot use your image/submission if it is deemed to be too text heavy.

The announcement will scroll on an automatic timer – Please remember your audience.
Regulations You must have a UNCW email address to submit announcements, and all announcements must be submitted using the Teal Terminal Submission Form. Announcements cannot advertise events that provide alcohol, or events that take place at an establishment where the primary business is alcohol sales, (i.e. - bars). Organizations accept responsibility for all announcements submitted. Teal Terminal will not confirm message information. Teal Terminal will not accept announcements that do not meet the specification and guideline requirements, no exceptions.
Teal Terminal, in coordination with Auxiliary Services and CAIC, has the final determination in selecting announcements for publication.
