INTRODUCTION Technical Services is pleased to announce the launch of the FS-1370DN Printer. The FS-1370DN produces 37 (LTR) pages per minute in B&W and is equipped with 128MB of standard built-in memory. Key Features of the FS-1370D are as follows: • • • • • •

DEALER LIMITED WARRANTY FOR KYOCERA PRINTERS Kyocera Mita America, Inc. (“Kyocera”) warrants to its Authorized Dealers that its new Multifunctional Products/ Printers (both referred to herein as “MFP/Printers”) will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from installation with first end-user, or 15 months from Kyocera’s invoice date to Dealer, or the specified number of copies/prints as listed below, whichever is earlier. Kyocera obligation hereunder is expressly limited to providing Dealer with the parts required to repair the MFP/Printer or crediting Dealer's account for the cost of said parts, at Kyocera's election. Maintenance Kits, lamps, exterior covers, consumable parts, and all labor costs, are specifically excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover MFP/Printers, which: (a) have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or electrical stress, (b) have used parts or supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies, (c) have been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera or an Authorized Kyocera Dealer, (d) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed, or (e) Dealer fails to register the installation information for the MFP/Printer with Kyocera utilizing KMAconnect. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND KYOCERA SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO, AND KYOCERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE MFP/PRINTER

MAINTENANCE KIT LIMITED WARRANTY Kyocera Mita America, Inc. and Kyocera Mita Canada Ltd. (both referred to as “Kyocera”) warrant your new maintenance kit against any defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years or the defined number of prints listed, whichever occurs first, from the date of customer installation. In the event any unit of your maintenance kit is found to be defective within the warranty period, Kyocera’s only obligation and your exclusive remedy shall be the exchange or repair, at Kyocera’s option, of the unit. The warranty period for any replaced maintenance kit unit will expire at the end of the original warranty. It is understood that Kyocera shall have no obligation to furnish labor. This warranty is valid only for original retail purchaser (the “Purchaser”) of a new maintenance kit in the United States of America or Canada, based upon the country of purchase. In order to receive warranty on a replacement maintenance kit, the replacement must be registered by an Authorized Dealer within 30 calendar days or 10% of the maintenance kit life, whichever comes first, from the expiration of the previous maintenance kit's warranty. In order to obtain performance of this warranty, the purchaser must return the defective maintenance kit unit in the original carton with proof of purchase (with date of purchase) together with a complete explanation of the problem to an Authorized Kyocera Service Facility in the United States or Canada, based upon the country of purchase. Any shipping charges must be prepaid by the Purchaser. This warranty does not cover maintenance kits, which: (a) have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage, or unusual physical or electrical stress, (b) have used parts and supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies, (c) do not work properly because of failure to follow operating, storage or maintenance instructions, (d) have been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera, or an Authorized Servicing Facility, or (e) have had the serial number modified, altered or removed. If the Dealer from whom the Purchaser purchased the printer is not an Authorized Kyocera Service Facility, the purchaser may obtain the name and address of an Authorized Kyocera Service Facility by writing to Kyocera at the address below or on the web at www.kyoceramita.com/us for Kyocera Mita America, Inc. or www.kyoceramita.com/ca for Kyocera Mita Canada. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. The Purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state to state, or province to province. Neither the seller, nor any other person, is authorized to extend the time period or expand this warranty on behalf of Kyocera. WARRANTY RETURNS Technical Services would like to make the Warranty Return Process more efficient so your Warranty Claim can be verified and processed in the least amount of time possible. To process your Warranty Claim and verify other key information, the Status Page (Two pages) and Event Log (one page) must be included with the returned item. If all three pages are not included with a Warranty Claim, the claim will be rejected.
LABOR REIMBURSEMENT An Authorized Kyocera Dealer will receive labor reimbursement and parts replacement for warranty repairs performed by its Kyocera Certified Technician. Labor reimbursement is available for all FS Series Printer Models for a period of 12 months from installation with first end-user, or 15 months from Kyocera Mita America’s invoice date to the dealer, or the specific number of copies/prints, whichever first occurs. Labor reimbursement is made in the form of a credit to the Dealer's Kyocera Account Number. Dealer Technicians who have completed the online training for the FS-1100D/1300D/1120D/1320D are considered certified on the FS-1370DN. Product Training for new Dealers for the FS-1370DN is offered as a full FS-1120D/1320D/1370DN On-Line Training Course, available at the Learning Center on KMAconnect. To participate in the On-line Training, either a FS-1120D/1320D/1370DN is required. The Dealership can place its first order for the training equipment prior to authorization, but additional equipment purchases require that at least one Technician has completed the On-Line Training Course with an overall score of 80% or higher.

* Repair PCB Price includes credit issued after return of old Board. Defective PCB’s being returned within the 1-Year warranty period must be returned to the National Return Center utilizing the Parts Warranty Registration & Return System on KMAconnect. Print out the Return Authorization form obtained through the system and return it with the Circuit Board for Credit. Any associated mounting brackets, hardware, system software and original packaging must be included with the claim. Credit will then be issued to your account. For defective PCB’s out of warranty, a Repair PCB must be ordered from the Parts Distribution Center. The dealer will be charged 100% of the New PCB price. The defective PCB can be returned using the Online Repair Board Core Form within 30 days of the Repair PCB invoice date. Upon receipt of the defective PCB at the National Return Center, the dealer will be credited 55% of the New PCB price.
