Digital printing makes printing even small lot sizes economical: changes in layout, text, 2D codes or regular barcodes, etc. can be implemented fast, without work from the graphics department and without the cost of new printing plates. • printing of various lot sizes • personalization, e.g. pre-printed labels, barcodes, 2D codes, lot numbers, serialization, etc. • endless printing (roll) • single item print (e.g. cardboard box) • fixed or moveable units available The mjet module is also the heart of mprint‘s successful label printing system, the mlabel. The modules can be configured in almost any combination from a single color unit to multi-color digital print engines with almost any number of print modules. The use of high resolution print heads with a native print resolution of 600 dpi and various drop sizes results in the highest print quality available. And with an optimized gray scaling and color management, these outstanding images can be achieved at print speeds of up to 75 m/min (246 ft/min). Flexible integration • compact single or multi-color modules in different print widths • option to expand with additional colors at a later time, e.g. white, spot colors, varnish • optional UV-LED pinning units after each color to achieve highest print quality (depends on material) • conventional UV and UV-LED curing systems available • manual or automatic print head cleaning Economical advantages • various interfaces to integrate into existing production environment • no cost for printing plates • easy integration and expansion based on modular design Easy Operation • short set-up times because of the flexibility of the system and the digital processing of print data • easy handling, e.g. filling of the main ink tanks from the front (for CMYK print engines) • reduction of inventory through late stage customization, e.g. in packaging • optimized software and user interface for the various applications • optimized ink usage through optional ink reclaiming: ink used for flushing is routed back into the main ink reservoir • user friendly, intuitive HMI • compact design requires only minimal space • virtually error-free setup and production through automated processes • Low ink cost per print because of optimized drop sizes • print registration adjustment via software • high reliability of the print engine and optimal equipment efficiency (OEE) of the entire system
