SCALE:1:10 SHEET 1 OF 1 A4 The TouringLineCompact incorporates two 6.5“ neodymium low mid speakers and one 1.4“ neodymium high frequency compression driver in a extremely compact, Polyurea coated enclosure. The physical spacing of the sources has been optimized as such, that a very homogeneous directivity pattern is achieved. The two low mid speakers are flanking the high frequency wave guide at both sides and are coupled to the surrounding via short horn flares and phase plugs. In this way it was possible to reduce the spacing of the virual sources to an absolute minimum, to add some sensitivity and to optimize the crossover frequency. The high frequency wave guide has been designed by using the latest BEM (boundary element method) techniques and generates a planar wavefront up to 16 kHz. Corresponding with the TouringLineCompact‘s field of application a module splay of up to 15° is possible. Its ultra compact latest generation 1.4“ neodymium compression driver offers the nescessary headroom easily. Both ways are combined in correct phase through a complex, passive crossover network. The nominal system impedance of 12 Ohms enables the powering of up to twelve modules at a modern two channel amplifier. Our AD-Systems Impulse system amplifiers are offering all nescessary signal processing ensuring maximum operational safety and first class sound quality. As with the TouringLine also the TouringLineCompact uses the proven and excellently to handle „Quick-Rig“ system. The rigging of the less than 15 kilogrammes weighting modules can be done by a single person. By applying highly loadable T6 almuminium hardware it was possible to certify the safe rigging of up to 16 modules according to the strict BGV C1 requirements. For easy and secure transportation an optional Tourcase is offered, which takes up four elements including a rigging bumper. The Tourcase‘s outer dimensions are fit to the Euro-Pallet standard trucking grid. The TouringLineCompact bumper enables flying of up to 16 TouringLineCompact elements and is certified according to the BGV C1 requirements. For safe and easy transportation of up to four TouringLineCompact elements including bumper and small parts a Tourcase is available. The acoustic design shall be optimized for the use as a line source vertical array. The LF speakers shall be mounted in a vented enclosure tuned for optimum low frequency response and separated horizontally. The HF driver shall be coupled to a constant directivity waveformer with a nominal coverage pattern of 90° (h) x 15° (v). The loudspeaker shall withstand short peaks of up to 1,600 Watt generating a maximum sound presure level of 127 dB. System frequency responste shall vary no more than +/-3dB from 90 Hz to 17 kHz measured on axis. The loudspeaker enclosure shall be trapezoidal in shape, constructed of weatherproof Baltic birch plywood and finished in black Polyurea coating. Optionally all RAL standard colours shall be available. The loudspeaker components shall be protected by a powder coated grille made of hex-stamped steel sheet and internally attached acoustic foam in appropiate colour. Flexible and easy to use rigging hardware made of black anodized T6 aluminium shall be provided. Suspended application shall be possible with a seperately available rigging cradle (bumper). Flying hardware and cradle shall be certified according to BGV C1 regulations for an application of up to 16 elements per rig. CAAD simulation data for ULYSSES and EASE suites shall be available.
