1. HOW TO INSTALL THE USB EVOLIS DRIVER
1/ Plug the printer to the Mac and make sure you are logged with the administrator rights.
2/ From www.evolis.com, download the latest Evolis Mac Driver, run the setup installation and follow the instructions durind the installation process.
3/ Open the “Apple Menu” to access the “System preferences”
4/ Open the “Printers & Scanners” section
5/ Click on “+” to set up the printer
6/ Select your printer
7/ Choose “Select Printer Software” From the “Use” menu access of the printer list
8/ Select the Evolis Driver to install and click on “ok” to finalize the driver installation verify the driver version first
2. HOW TO INSTALL THE ETHERNET EVOLIS DRIVER
1/ Plug the printer to the Mac and make sure you are logged with the administrator rights.
2/ From www.evolis.com, download the latest Evolis Mac Driver, run the setup installation and follow the instructions during the installation process.
3/ Open the “Apple Menu” to access to the “System preferences”
4/ Open the “Printers & Scanners” section
5/ Click on”+” to set up the printer
6/ Select “IP”
7/ Select “HP Jetdirect-Socket” in menu “Protocol” and enter the printer’s IP address NB : To parameters your IP address please refer at the end of the note.
8/ Choose “Select Printer Software” from the “Use” menu
9/ Select the Evolis driver you need to use and click on “OK” to finalize the installation
HOW TO FIND/SET IP PARAMETERS o a/ In case of have a DHCP network, first plug the printer to network. To get the IP address of printer :

To print technical card, send the command “St” Command in the printer driver To read IP address , send the command “Rip”.
1/ Open the “Apple Menu” to access the “System preferences”Printers & Scanners -> Options & Supplies -> Utility -> Open Printer Utility )
2/ Open the “Printers & Scanners” section, select “Options & Supplies”. In “Utility” section, click on “Open Printer Utility” for to open “Card Printer Direct Command Tool” (before send all command please “Identify” your printer)
