Introduction to CS-11 Thermostats A range of wall mounted thermostats - one digital night set back (NSB) thermostat and two programmable thermostats including a touchscreen version. We also have a digital time switch available with the same styling. The LCD display features large, clear graphics which makes using and programming the thermostats extremely simple. Despite their simple and unobtrusive appearance, they are packed full of features. All models have an optional remote sensor which can be used either to sense air temperature remotely for use in bathrooms for example or to sense floor temperature where additional protection is required for the floor finish. The thermostat can be set to sense air temperature only, floor temperature only or air and floor temperature. Depending on the model selected, Emmeti CS-11 programmable thermostats have a choice of 24 hour, 5+2 day, 6+1 day or 7 day programming with up to six time / temperature events to give a flexible choice to meet different needs for different lifestyles.

Our CS-11 LCD Simple NSB Digital thermostat offers a night setback function (NSB) enabling the thermostat to lower the room temperature at night between 2oC to 7oC (via a timeswitch) which reduces heating costs. Available also is a temperature range limiting function, allowing to limit the minimum set temperature 10oC - 20oC or to limit the maximum set temperature 20oC - 35oC. The CS-11 LCD (Digital) timeswitch enables the time control or setback temperature control of underfloor of radiator heating circuits using Emmeti EWC-1 and EWC-2 wiring centres. It offers a choice of 24 hour, 5+2 day or 7 day programming with up to three on-off periods per day. The volt-free contacts mean that it can be used for both 230V and 24V applications and it has a battery back-up in the event of power failure. The Emmeti range of CS-11- thermostats are suitable for homes and commercial applications with a ‘button lock’ feature to prevent accidental tampering with settings. All models are fully approved and tested, and carry the CE mark.

Installation Requirements The thermostats have been designed for fixed wiring only. Cable access is through the mounting box directly to the screwed connection terminals as shown in the Wiring section below.
Please ensure that the electrical wiring of the installation and connections to and from the thermostat are in accordance with BS 7671, the latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. The thermostats are designed for mounting on industry standard single-gang flush mounted wiring box with a minimum depth of 35mm. The backplate of the thermostat is secured to the mounting box after separating the front half from the backplate as shown below: the fixing centres of the backplate are also shown below.
The thermostat should be positioned approximately 1.5m from floor level and must not be positioned where it can be affected by draughts, sources of heat or cold or direct sunlight. Full installation instructions are enclosed with each product and can also be obtained from our website www.emmeti.co.uk.
