Sivoia QED™ system design benefits Intuitive Control Design: Easy-to-Read and Easy-to-Use controls are immediately understood.
Sivoia QED (Quiet Electronic Drive), a low-voltage system, utilises a nearly silent electronic drive unit (EDU). The control options for Sivoia QED include various styles of intuitive wall-mounted keypads and handheld remote controls to suit any need.
Convenience: Simplify your life by touching one button to open or close multiple, tall, and hard-to-reach blinds. Programmable Presets: The Sivoia QED electronic drive unit (EDU) optimises blind and curtain adjustment by offering programmable stop points. The EDU will track the position of the blind or curtain and recall a preset level at the touch of a button.
Simple System Design: Sivoia QED blinds or curtains can be grouped together without the use of external "group controls".

Sivoia QED™ electronic drive unit (EDU)
There are two models of EDU, the EDU 30 (for roller 100) and the EDU 10 (for roller 64). The EDU 10 offers a slimmer profile, fitting a 41mm diameter roller tube. Both EDUs feature identical wiring and programming.
The EDU is the brain of the Sivoia QED system. It controls the movement of the roller blind, keeps track of the blind’s position, and adjusts it to the programmed positions as selected by the user.

Roller Tube Leveling The innovative Sivoia QED idler bracket contains a set screw, which can be adjusted to raise and lower the idler side of the roller within the bracket, allowing the blind to be leveled easily without removing and re-mounting the bracket.
Lutron has designed a bracket system to maximise ease and flexibility of installation. The installer mounts a subbracket to the wall, ceiling or jamb.

Projection Adjustment The roller tube can also be adjusted away from or toward the wall, without having to be re-mounted. This helps ensure the blind clears any window hardware or trim. The bracket allows the tube to be adjusted up to 13 mm (1/2 in) forward or backward and is again secured with a set screw.

The bracket allows for adjustment of 9.5 mm (3/8 in) in either direction and locks in place with the set screw.

roller 100 in-line coupled roller blinds
Coupled blinds may provide a means to reduce the total installed cost of the Sivoia QED system. The number of EDUs on a job may be reduced where independent control of adjacent blinds is not needed. With a reduction in the number of EDUs there will be an equal reduction in power supplies and wiring. This may also simplify the programming and setup of the job.
COMPONENTS
In an in-line coupled system, one EDU is lifting up to three fabric panels. The EDU can lift approximately 10 m2 (100 ft2) of fabric. For a specific application, please consult your local Lutron fabricator.

With the in-line coupled system, up to three blind panels can be operated from a single EDU. A coupling pin provides for phase adjustment that allows the installer to adjust the hembar alignment after installation and without removing the fabric panels from the tube. Likewise, the in-line coupled system provides the same leveling, blind centring, and projection adjustment that is provided on the single roller Sivoia QED blind. Also, inline coupling is supported for all three mounting conditions: wall, ceiling, and jamb/recess. Fabric gaps are shown in the illustration below.

Sivoia QED™ power panel SVQ-10-PNL-230 Sivoia QED power panels simplify the wiring and organise installations that require multiple transformers. The power panel consists of a 10 output transformer, 10 fuses (one per output) and a wire landing board.
Note: Maximum feed breaker size of 30 Amps. Each terminal block will accept one 0.75-6mm2 wire. Please see the Wiring and Programming Guide (p/n 045-101-12a) for specific gauges and limitations.
Each panel has 10-7 pin connectors for EDUs. Each connector is supplied with power for an EDU. The panel contains a bus that connects the four communication link wires from each EDU together. It is recommended to home-run both EDU and keypad wiring to the power panel. The panel accommodates home run wiring with seven-pin EDU connectors for up to ten EDUs.
Power panels must be grounded for safe operation and installed by a licensed electrician adhering to all local and national codes. Note: The SVQ-10-PNL-230 internally connects the four communications wires landed at each of the seven-pin connectors. Maximum current draw is 4A per panel. Maximum of two power panels per 10amp breaker.

• Determine the width of the system required for your application by measuring the widest part of your window opening. Curtains should overlap the window you are treating in most cases by a minimum of three inches on each side.
