TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUSION LAMINATORS ™ Intelligent ™ Pouch Thickness Detection Laminating is super fast and super easy with the state-of-the-art Intelligent ™ Pouch Thickness Detection. Innovative technology which allows laminators to operate automatically with only minimal user assistance which means the best possible quality and consistent results. The machine automatically detects pouch thickness and instantly adjusts to the optimal settings. The Intelligent ™ Pouch Thickness Selection is featured on both the Swingline ™ GBC ® Fusion ™ 5000L and 5100L Laminators. Intelligent ™ Jam Alert Take the fear out of laminating with Intelligent ™ Jam Alert. If a jam occurs, the laminator automatically stops and alerts the user by beeping until the pouch is removed; letting users recognize and correct jams sooner than ever before. On the Swingline™ GBC ® Fusion ™ 3000L and 3100L Laminators, the press of a button will release or reverse the jammed pouch. On the 5000L and 5100L models, the machine will automatically reverse the jam. Swingline ™ GBC EZUse ™ Laminating Pouches ® Eliminate laminating guesswork with the new EZUse ™ thermal laminating pouches. EZUse ™ features simplify pouch loading and laminating: 1. Alignment guides - allow perfect centering for even borders 2. Mil thickness icons - for easy identification of pouch thickness 3. Directional arrow – a reminder to insert the pouch sealed edge first to reduce jams These helpful features disappear after lamination is complete.
