IMPORTANT NOTICE! Operating Instructions for Tecnodent 2009 Nova Operating Chair The 2009 Nova Chair is purely operated by foot switches. One set each for operator and assistant Each button has two functions 1. Press and hold for manual adjustment (½ second delay) 2. “Tap” for automatic operations (“Tap” within ½ second) Back Up Base Up Base Up Back Up Auto 2 Auto 1 Auto 1 Auto 2 Auto 3 Zero Zero Auto 3 Back Down Base Down Base Down Back Down Black centre button has two functions 1. Press for rinse position (one second delay) 2. Position chair using manual mode Press “P” and hold while performing (3) “Tap” auto 1 for program 1 Chair will “beep” to acknowledge position Three programs are available Repeat above steps for program 2 and 3 “P” Button Safety Plate Emergency Functions Emergency stop has been built into the back rest and safety plate under the left mechanism. If activated by an object, the chair will stop and the base will automatically raise (move away from the object) “Tap” any button to stop the chair movement.
