The decentralized network structure and use of peer to peer technology ensures that no head end, central server or controller equipment is required. The simple network structure devices do not require any network configuration or administration, eliminating IP address and DHCP server requirements. Teleor’s eSeries devices are functional out of the box and do not require any additional programming or setup. All you have to do is Just Plug It In The eSeries features crystal-clear high-definition HD Audio™, for exceptional performance during calls, audio distribution, and pages. In addition, the eSeries provides extremely fast connect times and low latency during all-call pages. Audio between eSeries devices is non-blocking, allowing a virtually unlimited number of audio channels across the LAN and reducing or eliminating busy signals. By combining the eSeries eStation, Administrative Console, Desktop Microphone, and Amplifier, you can design a network intercom system that can be specifically customized and scaled to suit the requirements of your facility. 1 www.mytelecor.com eSeries eStation The Telecor eSeries eStations are Power-over-Ethernet-based wall intercom stations used to communicate between specific areas of a facility. The eStations are available in zero, one, two, and three-button models, and can be flush or surface mounted on a wall. The buttons are tamper-proof and the overall assembly is designed to be vandal-proof. The eStations are fault tolerant with features like call roll-over so that an unanswered call to a primary destination is automatically redirected to a secondary destination. If both the primary and secondary call destinations are unavailable, the call is automatically redirected to a back-up call destination. Ceiling Speaker eStation The Ceiling Speaker eStation is an 8” diameter round loudspeaker intended to be placed in locations such as hallways or large common areas that do not require talkback. Like all eSeries eStations, these speakers can receive live or digitally stored announcements audio programs, and pages from a Master Station. It also has a station status LED indicator. Zero Button eStation The Zero Button eStation is intended for use at locations that only need to receive calls or pages. When these eStations receive a call, two-way communication is automatically established. Additionally, Zero Button eStations also have a station status LED indicator and a dry contact output. 2 Status One Button eStation The One Button eStation has a Push To Call button that can be used to call another eStation or an Administrative Console. One Button eStations also have a station status LED indicator and a dry contact output . PUSH TO CALL Status eSeries ™ Two Button eStation The Two Button eStation features a Push to Talk and a Cancel button. These eStations are able to receive calls and can be configured to make pages over loudspeakers and other eStations. The Push To Talk button is used to answer calls and control the talk/listen function while the Cancel button is used to end the call or zone page. When idle, a page can be distributed by pressing and holding the Push To Talk button. In addition to a station status LED indicator, the Push to Talk and Cancel buttons have additional LEDs to provide a visual indication of pending calls. Two Button eStations can activate the dry contact on a remote eStation, ideal for unlocking doors. PUSH TO TALK CANCEL Status eSeries ™ Three Button eStation PUSH TO CALL The Three Button eStation has a Push to Call, a Push to Talk, and a Cancel button. These eStations are able to answer calls using the Push To Talk button which also controls the talk/listen function. Three Button eStations can also be configured to make pages to loudspeakers and other eStations. The Push To Call button is used to call another eStation or an Administrative Console. The Cancel button is used to end the call or zone page. Three Button eStations have a station status LED indicator and additional LED indicators for the Push to Talk and Cancel buttons. These eStations also have a dry contact output. Three Button eStations can activate the dry contact on a remote eStation. Using the eConsole, you can quickly establish high-definition two-way voice communication with any other eSeries Console or Wall Station. It is also able to page any of 32 paging zones which can include any combination of other Consoles, Wall Stations, or Ceiling Speakers. The Console can also manage call-in from other stations, and control tone distribution, the playing of pre-recorded audio files, and distributing audio programs from other sources. Using the feature keys, you can scroll between calls and select one to answer. Voice communication can be conducted through the telephone-style handset, or through the built-in speaker using the Push to Talk key to toggle between talk and listen modes. Using the eConsole’s feature keys, you can also initiate a live page to all devices, or to a select group of devices. With an eAmplifier connected to the network, you can trigger audio program distribution, manage live announcements from a remote microphone, activate alert tones, or play pre-recorded audio files. 4 MCC-PM-MA Desktop Microphone For additional flexibility, connect the eSeries Desk Microphone to the eConsole. The ruggedly-built microphone adds the ability to quickly page a single zone at the touch of a button. It provides additional pushbuttons for digital volume control, push to talk, call cancel, forwarding, and activating a headset speaker/microphone. Additional inputs are provided to connect a footswitch and headset. The microphone is mounted on a semi-rigid gooseneck arm that can be positioned comfortably. A ring LED around the microphone provides clear indication when the microphone is live, and is a prominent visual indicator when a call-in is waiting to be answered. The eAmplifier is ideal for decentralized cable and cost-saving installations. It is designed to receive audio signals from either the eSeries network or a local input and broadcast them over conventional speakers and/or back into the eSeries network for broadcast to other eSeries devices. It also has the ability to store and play pre-recorded announcements or tones to its speakers or over other eSeries devices connected to the network. Each eAMP provides one zone of paging. For larger applications, multiple eAMPs can work co-operatively on the network to support a comprehensive zone paging system. The eAmplifier provides the ability to store and play audio files that can be activated from a contact closure or from the Administrative Console. It also includes a built-in tone generator, making the eAmplifier ideal for interfacing with building management systems to automatically or manually broadcast alarms and emergency announcements over loudspeakers in crystal-clear high-definition audio. The eAmplifier provides two inputs that can be independently configured for either connecting a microphone or line-level input, such as a CD player or radio. The eAmplifier provides an audio output point for connecting standard 25V/70V/8Ω speakers. 6 www.mytelecor.com eSeries eClock The Telecor eSeries eClock emphasizes plug-and-play design and minimum configuration to ensure ease of installation, use, and maintenance. The eClock combines Telecor's reliable and trustworthy digital clock design with Power-over-Ethernet technology. This allows for simplified wiring and network planning because the eClock obtains both power and data from a single CAT5 Ethernet cable. The Telecor Ethernet Time Server Software is a program that runs in the background to synchronize all eClocks on the network. If any eClocks lose their connection to the network, they will independently keep the time. Once the connection is re-established, the clocks will automatically re-synchronize with the network. When creating an intercom and/or paging network using eSeries devices, you do not need to worry about DHCP servers, IP addresses, subnets, or masks. ePORT Laptop/PC The eSeries devices are shipped with default settings that make them functional out-of-the-box upon being plugged into the LAN. However, using an eSeries ePORT, it is possible to make simple setting adjustments or programming changes. The ePORT is a device that plugs into a computer via USB and into the LAN that the eSeries devices are connected to. Network Switch Simple setting changes can be made to the eSeries devices by using the ePORT and included managagement software to access individual devices. Using this method, you can change eStations the devices’ names, dial numbers, and page zones. Devices capable of making call-ins or pages (eStations and eConsoles) can be set with call-in and page zone destinations. Storing pre-recorded announcements on eAmplifiers is also performed using the ePORT. This data is saved in a single file which can be opened and edited using any spreadsheet program. Once all programming changes have been made in the file, uploading the file using the ePORT will update the programming of all devices on the network. This avoids the repetitive programming of devices and instead allows you to quickly and easily make programming changes to multiple devices simultaneously. This method also lets you make changes to other features such as roll-over timers and call tone intervals.
