The Cinergy S2 PCI HD supports the new DVB-S2 standard and receives High Definition TV (HDTV) in fully broadcasted resolution via satellite. Naturally, earlier DVB-S formats are still supported so that you don‘t have to do without any of your favourite broadcasters or digital radio programmes. Digital video recorder Record HDTV programmes in full high-definition resolution and in H.264 format with the push of a button or via timer. With integrated MPEG 2/4 codec, you can also record previous formats in exceptional quality. You have the choice between manual and timed recording. The computer boots up from standby or sleep mode precisely when the chosen television show begins and then saves it on your hard drive automatically. No matter how you plan your recordings, they can be viewed immediately, even while the recording is in progress. And when you are finished, you can burn your recordings directly to CD or DVD!
