The system has been maintained and operated with utmost concerns for timely and accurate maintenance and repairs. DNR is not providing data files, photos, to the NOAA/NOS COTR as all information continues to be available and at the disposal of the COTR via the DNR data base website. DNR will continue to monitor the network and make the necessary or directed repairs in order to ensure continuous data retrieval. DNR will also continue to make recommendations to you when reoccurring situations can be resolved. I greatly appreciate your assistance in working on the Houston/Galveston PORTS and look forward to many more years of service. Scheduled Preventive Maintenance Visits Scheduled visits for June were completed for all Houston Galveston PORTS stations. Site visit logs are available beginning on page 3. The pier leading to station is by foot only and the key needs to be obtained from the Hilton. Upon arrival the deadbolt was pryed open. The glass window has been covered with plywood to keep vandals out.
