The Knürr TFT drawer is the ideal symbiosis of quality, space requirement, safety and ergonomics. From development to end installation, everything from one source: Made in Germany. Made by Knürr. One particular advantage is the option of providing typical standarised products with an individual appearance. Included among Knürr’s featured strong points is the design of the construction and colour coordination according to the wishes and specifications of the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customer. 15” & 17” TFT drawers. The TFT drawer designed by Knürr and equipped with SAMSUNG© TFT technology, consisting of display, keyboard and touchpad provides first-class quality at a particularly attractive price. An extended selection of international keyboard layouts is available in Knürr’s offer package - and this includes extremely customer-friendly delivery times. The folding system protects the display and the keyboard when they are not in use. The chassis reduces the overall installation height of the drawer to just one height unit (1 HU).

The innovative touchpad has separate mouse buttons on the left and right and an integrated right “mouse click” function.

The corresponding telescopic slides (with mounting material) are available for rack depths of 600 to 800 mm and 900 to 1000 mm. These installation sets have a chassis interlocking for safety during use. Two snap lock catches prevent the drawer from sliding out during transport. Knürr provides the TFT drawer optionally with 15” or 17” display.

The networking with the Internet makes it possible to access computers all over the world with the KVM switch (remote except for BIOS level).
Easy installation, comfortable operation The Z-Series replaces the traditional cabling of KVM switches for servers with the innovative, chain-like »server-to-server« cabling.
The integrated 128 bit SSL encryption provides the highest level of security with the administration of computers used world-wide.
Cabling expenses are consequently significantly reduced with a simultaneous increase in access distances. Small “Computer Interface Modules (Z-CIM)” are connected to the KVM ports of the computers and connected with one another with CAT5(E) cable. The Z-CIM modules transmit the keyboard, monitor and mouse signals to the Z-Series user station, to which monitor, keyboard (PS/2 or SUN) and mouse are connected. The user can select and competently control up to 42 servers with the easy to operate on-screen menus. The Z-Series system is a »plug & play« system, with which individual servers can be added during running operations. And needless to say, the server operation is not impaired.
KVM switches are equipment that enable all servers to be operated centrally from one or more workstations. This is particularly appealing when two or more computers have to be administered. The advantages of KVM switches, such as low space requirement, low procurement and operations costs with simultaneous high productivity, become all the more evident as more computers are connected. As a matter of fact, even with low cost systems with up to four computers, for example, this investment in operational security and administration is also a safe bet.

Solutions in the Technical Furniture Environment TFT monitors, i.e. flat screens, are rapidly displacing the use of the “tube technology” used to date. The space saving in the depth with desk and workbench systems is, of course, only guaranted with a holder system for flat screens, which makes the large support feet that TFTs normally require unnecessary. Our engineers and product experts will support you with thermal calculations and with the selection of components, and will work out a complete technical solution together with you.
-In order to avoid the “incalculable”, we simulate and test according to your requirements. With the latest tools, we test, for example, the complete system in accordance with international standards and requirements. - And with the last step, the realisation of the “product”, you can count on us 100%. Using our specialist expertise, we integrate all mechanical, electrical and electronic components for you in the racks, this including the complete cabling, and then we carry out the necessary tests

The increasingly smaller electronic modules ensure higher packing densities in the 19” racks. This consequently results in increasing thermal stresses on the electronics in the rack. Knürr has the solution for you: The »Dart« fan units ensure improved airflow through racks and enclosures. “Hotspots” are specifically targeted and cleared. The special fan technology enables balanced through flow for cooling the electronic components. The fan units are available in both regulated and non-regulated version. Ventilation units on the top or the side panels of the cabinets and enclosures ensure optimal cooling of active components. If the maximum external temperDAR20005
ature is higher than the highest permissible rack-internal temperature, cooling equipment and heat exchangers are put into operation. The same applies when increased requirements are implemented with regard to IP protection (moisture/dust).
