SAVING WATER WITH THE ROCA ECO DISC CARTRIDGE The Roca eco disc cartridge is supplied as standard with the majority of of our single lever mixer taps. The cartridge gives you the choice between two water flows. As you raise the lever handle you reach a level of resistance giving 50% of the flow; by lifting beyond this bite-point, you achieve full water flow. The cartridge also has a temperature limiter, set when installing the tap, to eliminate the risk of scalding. It can easily be altered after installation.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR TAPS ELECTRONIC
BASINS There are many means in which you can provide water to your basin. In addition to the traditional option of two pillar taps (as shown below) you may wish to select something different to suit your bathroom. For definitions of the different types of tap and explanations of how they operate, see page 44.
No handles or buttons, hygienic and water saving – perfect for both public and private installations – fittings that use an infra red beam of light which when broken for the first time the water flows and a second time the water stops.
INSTALLATION RESTRICTIONS If you are choosing a style of operation that is different from your existing taps then it is always best to contact a plumber or local specialist retailer who can advise you of any specific installation requirements which will need to be considered when making your final decision.
TRADITIONAL
Made to suit a basin with two tapholes these taps are the most traditional in style, offering one tap for the cold water and another for the hot. Offering a great solution for those seeking a quick fix for a refreshing look on an existing two taphole basin there are similar styles available in the following ranges: Brava (pg 29), Danube (pg 30) and Danube Cross (pg 31).

WALL MOUNTED VALVE
These are built in plates which allow you to control the water flow to the bath. Separate water outlets must be chosen for the bath (see page 32 for bath filling options).

These mount directly on to the bath. There are options for baths with two tapholes (see left) as well as the option of a mono bath filler which only requires one tap hole and is popular for those who choose a no taphole bath and can therefore be positioned in a location of your choice. Options available in the following ranges: Loft, Logica, Monojet-N, Targa, Vectra, V2, Monodin-N, Danube-N and Danube Cross (mono filler available in selected ranges only).
3 OR 4 HOLE DECK MOUNTED BATH FILLERS
These are fabulously designed pieces which deliver the water in a beautiful way. These spouts only deliver the water so a separate valve(s) or control in a style of your choice must be selected to turn the water on and off and regulate the temperature (see page 32 and 38 for valve options).
BATH FILLER/ OVERFLOW
These offer a stylish method of filling the bath. They can be mounted directly on the bath surround or on a ledge depending on the depth. Some come pre-mounted on a metal plate for a stylish look which is easy to fit. Options include: Touch, Amura.
AMURA-N Another clever method for filling your bath is an overflow which acts as a bath filler at the same time. The water comes out of part of the overflow so there is no need for a separate spout. This only delivers the water so separate valves or control in a style of your choice must be selected to turn the water on and off and regulate the temperature (see page 38 and 39 for valve options).

The Singles-Pro range features a progressive cartridge meaning the control always starts the flow with cold water and as you continually turn the control the flow changes to a mix of hot and cold, ending the turn with hot water. This leads to significant energy savings. At the same time, the flow is limited to a maximum of 9 litres per minute, giving a water saving of 25% when compared to standard single lever taps.

SINGLE LEVER
½ TURN
This is the term used to describe any mixer suitable for a one tap hole basin and can be single lever or twin handled tap body.
Single lever mixer taps which incorporate the opening, closing and mixing of hot and cold water with one single lever control. Move the lever up to open the tap and down to close. To alter the water temperature, the lever moves from left to right and vice versa.
Mixer with ½ a turn the tap opens and closes fully to give a smooth, quiet action and great resistance to wear.

A pair of matching taps for hot and cold water.
Mixer taps that automatically maintain a constant temperature irrespective of the variations in the water pressure and the temperature of the hot and cold water supply. They have a cartridge or thermostatic element, a control for selecting the temperature (featuring a safety stop that prevents scalding) and a half-turn ceramic control with flow restrictor to permit the reduction of consumption.
