RIDER Please read this rider carefully. It is an essential part of the attached contract for a performance by the Artist. By signing it, you are agreeing to supply the Artist(s) with certain equipment and working conditions, which are essential to their performance. Any breach of the terms of this Rider is a breach of the contract and may cause the Artist to cancel the performance without releasing you from obligation to pay them. Artist shall receive 100% billing on all advertising, posters, flyers, programs, tickets, etc., including all audio visual promotion. The billing for this engagement must appear in all advertisements exactly as it does below and on the contract cover. Please note the trademark designation after Dizzy GillespieTM. Used by permission the trademark sign (TM) must always appear in copy pertaining to this engagement. D1ZZY GILLESPIETM is the exclusive trade and service mark of the Dizzy Gillespie Estate. Purchaser shall provide the following at his/her sole expense:
a. Ground Transportation Purchaser shall provide all necessary ground transportation for the Artist, including all personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation between the airport and hotel, and transportation between the hotel and the Venue.
b. Private dressing rooms
Dressing rooms shall be clean, comfortable, well lit, and heated or air conditioned, and shall be within easy access to clean and preferably private lavatories well supplied with soap, toilet tissue, Kleenex, and towels. There should be a large comfortable dressing room for the rest of the band members.
c. Hospitality Food and beverage sufficient for the Artist. A hot meal is required before the performance. Salmon is always the best choice, with rice, salad, and a desert + vegetarian options. We also require several types of juices (orange, cranberry), coffee, tea, beer (if allowed), bottled water.
d. Hotels 6 single rooms with private facilities, TV, direct dial telephone and including breakfast in a minimum 4* hotel for 1 night
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Bass Amplifier Preferred Amplifier AER or
(1) One - Galien Krueger Bass Amplifier (400RB, 800RB, or 1000) (1) One – Hartke XL410B Bass Cabinet (4 x 10” speakers )
Other choices for Bass Amplifiers – EBS ET115, SWR, Peavey KB-300 Keyboard Amplifier Minimum requirements (please check the brand name with John Lee) A professional quality BASS Amplifier The amplifier should have a minimum of 100 watts of power, and 4x - 10 inch speakers.
2. Drums (Machito Jr.) a) One pair Latin Percussion/Tito Puente Model Timbales 14 Inch and 15 Inch sizes b) Three Latin Percussion Congas 11 Inch, 11 ¾ Inch and 12 ½ Inch sizes with stands c) Two Sabian Cymbals, 20 Inch ride and 18 Inch crash with 2 (two) cymbal stands

4. Guitar Amplifier 1st choice: Fender deluxe reverb 2nd choice: Fender twin reverb ( NOT "the twin" or "twin")
3rd choice: Fender vibrolux
5. Lighting An adequate professional stage lighting system with a standard assortment of bright coloured gels, spotlights, and an experienced lighting operator

A Floor Rug covering approximately 5' feet x 7' feet (To be placed under the drum kit)
