The Konftel 55 series – for web and teleconferencing The Konftel 55 and the Konftel 55W form a series of simple-to-use, versatile conference units delivering impressive, crystal-clear sound thanks to the patented OmniSound® HD audio technology. The Konftel 55 series has been specially designed to be the hub of your communications. Connect your computer, mobile phone/tablet and desktop phone for effortless meetings with superior audio quality whatever the communication tools. Moreover, VoIP calls can be bridged with calls via a desktop or mobile phone. Switch connections easily on the smart LCD colour screen that only displays the current connections. The Konftel 55 series has recording capability. Calls and dictations recorded on the memory card can be played back, saved or shared. These highly portable units look just as good on the desktop and in the home office as in the conference room. The difference between the models is that the Konftel 55W has Bluetooth and is equipped to accept an optional battery and expansion microphones.

Computer and web meeting connection For calls via Skype, Microsoft Lync or other web meeting services, the Konftel 55 series connects to the computer's USB port (cable provided) or via Bluetooth®.
Mobile phone & tablet connection The Konftel 55W has Bluetooth® and connects wirelessly to other devices fitted with Bluetooth®. Mobile cables are available as accessories for the most popular phones.

Headsets Continue using your headset by connecting it to the 3.5 mm port. The Konftel 55/55W allows you to switch easily between a headset and loudspeakers.
Desktop phone connection The Konftel 55/55W integrates with the PBX via a simple connection to the desktop phone headset port. Thanks to the Konftel's unique switchbox solution, both the headset and the Konftel 55/55W are connected for immediate use.
OMNISOUND® HD – SUPERIOR AUDIO QUALITY The patented OmniSound® audio technology guarantees an impressive and crystal-clear full-duplex audio, allowing you to speak in two directions for effective participation in virtual meetings. The sound is transmitted clearly and powerfully to all attendees thanks to a hypersensitive microphone with 360° audio pick-up and speakers. OmniSound® HD delivers HD audio during VoIP calls. It also incorporates automatic echo cancellation and noise suppression, which minimises background noise interference, and an equaliser for personal adaptation of the audio properties. This means you can move about freely in the room, talking, discussing and debating with others without any loss of audio quality and without any annoying sound clipping, damping or echoes. It's as close to real sound as you can get.
