The latest sensation down-under. www.waterco.com
Senex This new and exciting system looks like making the conventional system as we know it, a thing of the past. Unlike the traditional spa baths which jets the same old water out from the sides of your bath and pumps it around your body, Senex blows fresh pre-warmed jets of air throughout the water to create its own incredible, invigorating hydromassage. But that’s only part of the story. The jets of low pressure pre-warmed air come from down under your body, in other words, from the base of the bath. Imagine thousands of air turbulated bubbles gently massaging your whole body all over, caressing your neck, your thighs, your legs and your back. It’s also soothing for those aches and pains, including arthritis and rheumatism. Its massaging effects works wonders on those well used muscles and joints, not to mention the relaxing effect on your body and mind after a stressful day or after exercise. Another side to Senex is the way the hot, turbulent water encourages an all over feeling of well-being. It is believed that it’s stimulating effect relieves bruising, tones up the skin texture and reduces tension. In short, the whole family will enjoy and benefit from Senex. Plus Senex is so easy to use. Simply lay back, relax and select the massage level you require on your touch sensitive control panel and let the gentle or pummelling turbulent bubbles do the rest. No nasty things behind your back. Senex is a flexible, highly efficient massage system. The layout of the jets is designed to suit the bather’s body at rest and guarantees you get the massage all over your body. The jet heads are non-abrasive to delicate skin tissue. Senex does not recycle the same old bath water around and around through the pipes. It blows low pressure pre-warmed jets of air directly into the water, minimising the possibility of residual bath water returning into the bath. The pipes in the Senex system only carry heated air, that’s the big difference. The heated air from the AirPack ensures high temperatures are generated throughout the distribution pipe work, effectively sanitizing the system each time it is used. The Senex System also incorporates an Automatic ‘Purge’ Cycle. The system will automatically re-start 10 minutes after the system has been switched off and will operate for approximately 10 seconds in order to clear the jet assemblies of any residual water. Magnetically operated Back flow prevention devices prevent the bath water from entering the distribution pipe work, unlike conventional re-circulating systems which carry the bath water. Senex is not only gentle on your body, but gentle on your mind too.

Getting it right isn’t a side issue with us.

It has been said that some systems are difficult to install, with Senex it’s the contrary. Because all equipment must be factory fitted to the bath-tub in accordance with local authority regulations/ standards, when it comes to the actual bathroom installation it’s virtually as straight forward as installing a standard bath-tub. Of course, electrical connection of the AirPack is required.

And, there is no additional plumbing of the system necessary, the bath-tub is simply connected to the drainage in the normal way. The AirPack is a low sound operating compact unit which has been specifically designed for indoor use, and it is housed in an insulated splash-proof enclosure with full electrical protection. Some authorities/standards require that the AirPack be installed under and within the bath-tub’s perimeter. However, because the Senex System’s pipe work is flexible and carries air instead of bathwater, the usual water drainage and pump priming concerns associated with the conventional system are not relevant to the Senex System. The AirPack can be installed up to 5.0 metres away from the bath-tub, in a nearby ventilated cupboard or even up in the roof.

But remember, local authority regulations do vary and it is worthwhile checking with your supplier or the relevant authorities.
