BMW Motorrad THE NEW BMW S 1000 RR. PRODUCT INFORMATION. OVERVIEW. The BMW S 1000 RR is staggeringly quick. It’s a 208-kg supersports bike that delivers 199 hp (146 kW) at 13,500 rpm. It looks like a bike that means business on the racetrack – and it doesn’t disappoint. With close to maximum torque available between 9,500 (112 Nm) and 12,000 (113 Nm), beating your previous best is always on the cards. Features fitted as standard include DTC, preparation for race shift direction inversion, and three riding modes: Rain, Sport and Race. Optional extras include Dynamic Damping Control, Pro gear-shift assist (which lets you change gears up and down without using the clutch), Pro riding modes (plus two extra modes), Launch Control and speed limiter for the pit lane. The BMW S 1000 RR is a superbike straight out of the top tier, leading the way on roads and racetracks alike.
