We offer a wide choice of chair mechanisms to provide a full range of adjustments to suit particular tasks and individual needs. All mechanisms are of the finest quality and have only been selected after thousands of hours of continuous testing in our in-house testing facility. The relevant chairs within this catalogue have also been independently tested to BS54592:2005 - full certification is available. All swivel chairs are fitted with top quality pneumatic gas height adjustments as standard which are Class 4 compliant, thereby ensuring all swivel models can facilitate a weight of up to 150kg (23.6 stone approx.) for normal use. Soft wheel castors, locking castors and glides are also available, please consult the Sales Office for prices. All arm heights are shown at the lowest point.
Backrest fully adjustable for height and angle.
Independent movement enables the seat and backrest angle to be adjusted separately of each other with the ability to lock both in a fixed position - will freefloat if lever is left unlocked. Backrest can be independently adjusted for height.
Fully synchronised mechanism enables seat and backrest angle to be adjusted to required position. Fixed ratio of 1.8:1 ensures correct ergonomic posture. Can be locked in position or freefloating. Tension control adjusts chair to user’s weight. Backrest can be independently adjusted for height.

Our task seating products are designed and assessed in accordance with the ergonomic guidelines of BS EN 1335- 1:2000 and BS EN 9241-5:1999. They are independently tested in excess of the performance requirements of BS EN 1335-2/3:2009 and BS 54592:2000+A2:2008. Whilst visitor chairs are tested to BS EN 13761:2002 and BS EN 15373:2007. Our desking, tables and storage are similarly designed and accessed in accordance with the guidelines of the relevant British and European product dimensional, performance and safety standards where applicable: BS EN 527-1:2000 Office furniture desk and table dimensions.
