The Quicklink Enterprise Playout Server Solution Overview
The Quicklink Enterprise Playout Server is an integral part for both the Store & Forward and Live broadcast solutions. The series offers both Standard Definition and High Definition models and is able to playout media from either Mac or Windows software encoders, Merlin backpack, iPhone, SD/HD hardware encoders and QMM (Media Manager). The Quicklink range of 2U servers is offered for Store & Forward and Live transmissions. The Store & Forward is offered complete with WBBM to manage the playout of stored media files. The Live Server incorporates the latest Live Receiver Software which offers the ability to simply manage broadcast quality live transmissions. To ensure no interruptions in streaming occur, this rack mounted 2U server provides more uptime through the incorporation of dual resilient power and mirrored solid state hard discs. The server supports multiple live connections simultaneously.
