Shall you have any suggestion or comments, please access our web site : http://www.thermaltake.com or e-mail to : [email protected] we appreciate your kindly feedback and you will receive the prompt response from our customer service team. Thank you for choosing a quality Thermaltake Purepower Power Express 250W graphic card Power Supply. We trust that you will find it providing you with many years of service. Thermaltake Technology's innovational spirits have developed the world's first power supply accessory that is dedicated towards the high-performance graphic cards today. Due to the high demand of the +12V rail as specified by NVIDIA and ATI, the Power Express 250W dedicated graphic card power supply is born. The power supply effectively assists the consumers to retain the original power supply they have been using before the upgrade of their video cards. The sole purpose of the Power Express is to provide as high as 21A of +12V for the video cards. The Power Express 250W is also equipped with a 24-pin main adaptors so that the unit can turn on and off at the same time the computer system is being turned on and off. The simple 5.25" drive bay is powered through an AC adaptor card in one of the PCI slots; this implementation of the unit enables easy access and easy installation of the whole system. Thermaltake PurepowerTM Power Supply Purepower TM Power Express 250W >> 02 External appearance-wise, the Power Express 250W has a front panel with three LED lights that shows the operating condition of the unit and the video card. Thermaltake did not forget that the Power Express is still essentially a power supply it is still equipped with OVP, OCP, SCP, OTP , and other kinds of circuitry protection as well as active PFC for the most stable environment possible. The low-noise 40mm fan in the rear of the unit also constantly keeps the power supply cool and quiet at all times. Not only is the Power Express 250W extremely usefully, it also includes luxury features such as shielded black mesh sleeves for the cables and easy-plug connectors. The Thermaltake Power Express 250W is the world's first power supplying unit that enables the usage of high-performance graphic cards without replacing the old power supply. Please take the time in familiarize yourself with the power supply, its connectors and the contents of this manual before proceeding with the installation of the power unit. You will need a Phillips crosshead screwdriver, perhaps your PC case manual and most certainly your motherboard manual. Thermaltake PurepowerTM Power Supply >> 16 Thermaltake PurepowerTM Power Supply Purepower TM Power Express 250W >> 17 Purepower TM Power Express 250W Question: There is no DC output. The fan are motionless when I run the unloaded test as mentioned above. Answer: Is the AC inlet plug firmly plugged into the PSU inlet socket? Is the wall socket, extension power cord, power strip or surge protector in use, fully functional and wall power switch switched to the "ON" position? Is the 24-pin adapter plug fully with main power supply and motherboard? Should you have any questions regarding the Question: The fan began rotating and then stopped. The system hangs without proceeding any further. Answer: Are the PCI-Express connectors firmly plugged into dual PCI-Express graphic card? If a plug has been inadvertently connected in an off-set or reserved position, unplug the AC power source, reconnect the offending connectors and then wait for 30 seconds before re-plugging in the AC power source and trying again. For Support or General Inquiries, please contact us at: Question: The system readings of the voltages seem to be out of range How can I make sure the power supply is functioning properly? Answer: Please do not rely on software readings such as your motherboard BIOS or third-party software. The usage of a digital multi-meter is strongly recommended to check your voltage stability while the system is running. 2 Thermaltake Europe B.V. Tel:+31-10-409-0150 Question: Insufficient power warning message pop up on the screen, what should I do for this problem? Answer: Are the Power Express firmly plugged into dual graphic card PCI-Express connector? Please make sure your Power Express 250W switch is on "ON" positionand connect the 24-pin adapter with main powersupply and then, connect the dual 6-pin PCI-Express to your graphic cards. Message informs user that the performance will decrease due to insufficient power is being supplied to the graphic card but it still works without using any SLI or CrossFire support PC games or software such as 3D Mark. Question: I am a technician; can I open up a suspected defective power supply for inspection? Answer: Unfortunately,no. High voltages exist inside the power supply unit; unauthorized opening of the power supply unit will void all warranties and may result in serious injuries. Thermaltake PurepowerTM Power Supply aforementioned steps, please contact Thermaltake directly. Failure to follow the proper procedures may cause severe bodily harm or PC component damage. 1 Thermaltake Technology USA Toll Free: (800)988-1088 Email: [email protected] Email: [email protected] 3 Thermaltake Beijing Co.Ltd.
