Read all instructions before using the wine cooler. WARNING: Children may climb inside and risk potential suffocation. DISPOSAL: Remove door and leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside. Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the wine cooler. Do not clean or store any flammable liquids in or around the vicinity of this or any other wine cooler. The fumes can create a fire hazard. Do not store food in wine cooler, as interior temperature may not be enough to prevent spoilage. Save these instructions 4 Installation Instructions Before using your wine cooler Remove the exterior and interior packaging Check to be sure the following parts are included: For SC-18SSA, (5) Five removable shelves. Instruction manual. Before connecting the wine cooler to power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. Place your wine cooler on floor strong enough to support the wine cooler when it is fully loaded. To level your wine cooler, adjust the front legs at the bottom of the wine cooler. Keep away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold or hot ambient temperatures may also cause the wine coolers not to perform properly. Not designed for placement in attic or basement. Designed for use inside the home. Electrical Connection Warning Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized Products Service Center. This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this unit is equipped with a 3-prong plug which mates with 3-prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the ground wine from the power cord supplied. Use of extension cords is not recommended. This unit requires a standard 110V-60HZ electrical outlet with 3-prong plug. The cord should be secured behind the wine cooler and not exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury. 5 Operating Your Wine cooler It is recommended that you installed the wine cooler in a place where the ambient temperature is between 10-26℃(50- 80° F) . If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing the unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperature to fluctuate. The optimal range of 10-16 ℃ (50-60 °F ) may not be reached. The temperature may fluctuate depending on whether or not the interior light is on or off or whether the bottles are located on the upper, middle or lower section. How to use the press-buttons on the Display Panel: There are three press-buttons on the panel. Care And Maintenance Cleaning your wine cooler Unplug the wine cooler and remove the bottles. Wash the inside with a solution of warm water and baking soda. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water. The outside of wine cooler should be wiped down with mild detergent and warm water. Draw out the water box at the bottom, and wash. Moving your wine cooler Remove all the bottles. Securely tape down all loose items inside your wine cooler. Turn the leveling legs up to the base to avoid damage. Tape the door. Make sure the wine cooler stays in the upright position during transportation. 6 Troubleshooting You can solve many common wine cooler problems easily, saving you the time or cost of a possible service call. Here are some common problems and their respective solutions. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE Wine cooler does not operate. Not plugged in. Plugged into an outlet not providing 110V/120V. Breaker fuse tripped. Wine cooler is not cold enough. Check the temperature control setting. External environment may require a higher setting. The door is open too often. The door is not closed completely. The door seal does not seal properly. The wine cooler does not have enough space in the rear for venting excess heat. The light does not work. Light is defective. Light is burned out. Vibrations. Check the adjustable legs to ensure that the wine cooler is level. The wine cooler makes too much noise. The wine cooler is not level. Check the fan. The door will not close properly. The wine cooler is not level. The doors is reversed and improperly installed. The seal is weak/damaged. The shelves are out of position. LED does not display. Main control board does not work. PCB Problem. There is some problem with the plug. LED display error. Defective LED display. Thermostat error. Buttons are not functional. This limited warranty is valid only in the United States or Canada and applies only when the major appliance is used in the country in which it was purchased. Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your major appliance, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported to Www.shoprangehoods.com within 30 days from the date of purchase. 6. Any food loss due to refrigerator or freezer product failures. 7. Costs associated with the removal from your home of your major appliance for repairs. This major appliance is designed to be repaired in the home and only in-home service is covered by this warranty. 8. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the appliance. 9. The removal and reinstallation of your major appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions. 10. Major appliances with original model/serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot be easily determined. This warranty is void if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from your major appliance. The cost of repair or replacement under these excluded circumstances shall be borne by the customer.
